St Annes is an older style cottage, built in approx. 1900 set in the heart of the historic medieval village of Carlingford. A tranquil coastal setting with breathtaking views of Slieve Foy mountain, Carlingford harbour and surrounding countryside. Relax on the terrace with wonderful views of the harbour. King Johns Castle, Taaffe’s Castle and the village. The house is located in the medieval area of Carlingford and is in walking distance to all the amenities. Close to great restaurants, traditional bars, wonderful water sports and the stunning surrounding countryside. A great base for your visit.

The property has been extensively renovated over the years and offers accommodation over 2 floors.

Downstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom, while the living space is located on the upper floor, complete with an elevated decking area overlooking the harbour, which is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a wood burning stove in the living room.

The house is situated in a quiet residential area, a truely cosy getaway.

House rules

Please note, the upper floor is reached by a spiral staircase, and the raised deck also contains a staircase to the garden. Therefore not suitable for those with limited mobility and younger children requiring constant supervision. There are no stair gates and no option to use one due to the spiral staircase.
Quiet street, - zero tolerance policy on parties being held in the house. A party being defined as: Any situation where the maximum number of guests is exceeded.

How do damage deposits work?

If Orla (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
