The Village Cottage is situated in the centre of the historic village Bushmills. Cushioned between the village shops and award winning restaurants, this authentic Village Cottage offers an experience for up to 6 guests. Built in the 1800s, the two-storey cottage offers a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double room, and a third bedroom with bunk beds with a family-friendly living area with a flat-screen TV and a fully fitted self-catering kitchen.

With free parking, wifi and full amenities, we are within walking distance of the world-renowned Bushmills Distillery and artisan galleries located throughout the village. The Cottage is Tourism Northern Ireland approved with a three star rating and is run by a certified Worldhost Ambassador. There is additional parking to the rear with a small outside living area to catching the afternoon sun.

To continue the experience, we are located less than 6 minutes drive from the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Giant’s Causeway and a 6 minute drive to the medieval Dunluce Castle, leading to Portrush and the Golf Links Course Royal Portrush, next to the Blue Flag Sandy Beaches. The surrounding area offers numerous outdoor activities, including walking, fishing, surfing, experiencing the delights of the National Trusts properties and locations throughout the coastal route, returning to the joys and comfort of the Village Cottage Bushmills.

Irene was super friendly and very welcoming, making us all feel comfy and relaxed. The location is great for the many beautiful destinations along the coast there. My boys and I both agree that it was an excellent holiday house for us, and as a result, a great holiday. Thanks Irene.

Irene was the perfect host. We traveled with my husband and 4 young boys ages 10,8,6,4. She welcomed us with fresh milk and tea/coffee and chocolate's for the boys. The house was the perfect location. It was right in the heart of the town. It was the cleanest place I think I have ever stayed in. Her attention to detail was superb. She had everything from movies for children, to the amenities in the kitchen, to the house being so clean and tidy. I highly recommend this to any family looking for lodging in Bushmills.

My wife and four children stayed at the property for five nights. It's a clean, tidy, cottage on the main street with off street parking. It's layout make it a really enjoyable holiday home. The cafe next door was a great place to get a breakfast. Would definitely go back. Having teenagers we left a couple of things behind which Irene found and posted on without any fuss.

Had a wonderful time, the accommodation couldn't have been better, Irene was extremely friendly and helpful whilst we were there. The area had all needed to enjoy the break and was within all the local attractions and sights to be visited. IE:; Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway new visitors centre and walks, Glens of Antrim scenic drives and extensive walks with waterfalls and forestry. Various beaches and attractions around.

The village lodge is perfectly located in the picturesque village of Bushmills, a 5 minute drive to the Giant's Causeway. It is a wonderful rental that is spotlessly clean (we have never managed that level of perfection in our own home!), comfortable and spacious. The rental is so utterly practical for both dining out and eating in, with restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and pubs dotted all the way along the street. Surrounded by quaint stores and with natural wonders so close, it is bliss for both the walker/hiker and the more shopping motivated of us. Superbly close to the Bushmill's Distillery, a nice amble after a wee drop of whisky sampling is perfectly effortless. Irene the host, is absolutely tremendous. Kind, thinking of all details, absolutely helpful to the last moment, she is gorgeous. Her absolutely fantastic gift of the gab and her incredible surprise - to make a tin of treats to leave for us and sweets for the kids - have left us with a really lovely souvenir of this vacation

Stayed in Village Lodge cottage this weekend with 3 friends and had a ball! Irene (the lovely owner) was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour. It's on Main street and has a gorgeous Chinese facing it and cafe next door. Also private parking around back. Absolutely spotless too. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Irene.
