La Belle Echappe ("The Beautiful Escape") is a magnificent maison bourgeoise style manor house. Set in walled and gated grounds of 1 hectare with heated salt water swimming pool (much kinder for the skin and eyes) and offers an abudance of activities and entertainment for all the family. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with the highest quality furniture and fitments, beds and bed linen and includes wireless internet connection. Outside is an array of sunny terracces and eating areas and enough space to hold rugby, football or cricket matches.

An ideal holiday location for everyone, offering a get away from it all environment on the edge of the picturesque village of Faye L'Abbesse in the Deux-Sevres deparment of the Poitou Charente region. With 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 13 plus 2 babies La Belle Echappee's accommodation is equally suited to family holidays or groups of friends.

Further details Outdoors:

La Belle Echappee has a gated driveway with ample parking for several cars, when the gates are closed the grounds are totally secure for the children. The swimming pool is 10x5 metres with roman steps, and is fully heated (average temp of 28 degrees). The salt water system is much kinder for the skin and eyes. At the side of the pool is a solar heated shower. Sun loungers, chairs and small tables surround the pool. At the side of the pool is a new decking terrace with table, chairs and parassol. Two large patio tables with an abudance of chairs are in place for alfresco dining along with two gazebo's and a rattan suite for relaxing by the summer kitchen. The summer kitchen has a sink and cupboards, fridge, kettle, filter coffee machine, roll out canopy and a large gas BBQ and charcoal BBQ. Here there is also a toilet and washbasin giving ideal access from the pool and outdoor activities and is where the washing machine is located. Vast lawned areas are perfect for all outside games, with badminton net, football net, croquet and badminton equipment. An outdoor table tennis table and bicycles are provided along with an array of other outdoor play items. Close to the pool is a play area with swings, slide and climbing frame.

The English owners live in an apartment on site and are on hand to offer advice about where to go, restaurants to try, wine to sample.
