Awarded our AA Five star rating in Sept. 2019 - Bell Lodge is a large, luxury holiday house let set in the small village of Birdham, Chichester on the Manhood Peninusula

Located just a 4/6 minutes drive to the beautiful and popular East and West Wittering Beaches and 2XS Ltd water sport centre for windsurfing, surfing , kite and SUP hire and tuition.

It is the perfect base for a bucket and spade holiday, visits to bustling Chichester and its impressive harbour, cycling Salterns Way to East Head, attending a Goodwood event, Weddings at Southend Barnes or a boat trip to Bosham Quay on the Itchenor Ferry.

Bell Lodge has been newly refurbished and decorated to the highest standards offering a touch of glamour to a modern country house.

It is a holiday home for all ages with a down stairs ensuite walk/wheel in wet room and large secure grounds and garden. We can cater for special family celebrations relaxing wellness breaks or full-on activity holidays. We aim to ensure your stay offers everything you are looking for.

It is ideal for large family gatherings or events. The designer kitchen with breakfast bar and TV seating area leads onto a 14 seater dining room. The cinema room with its 50inch screen large red beanbags and chairs is ideal for screen time chilling . Luxury 8 bedrooms (arranged as twins/ kingsize to suit) offer high end hotel standard beds, the downstairs designed for full disabled/wheelchair access wth en suite wheel in wet room. This room has its own entrance. ( Two family bathrooms, 2 en suite bedrooms and separate WC) All bed linen and towels are sourced and laundered through a hotel laundry company to ensure the highest quality. Our large but cosy 'blue room' with its wood burning stove offers space for all to gather and sit. There is extensive out side space and grounds with the use of a large field to the left. A trampoline and outdoor table tennis table ensure all year round activities in a secured area.

By request ( and added cost) and we can offer personnel trainers/ wellness packages with our partners plus on site beauty and massage therapy. Also the services of a chef and extra housekeeping.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Melissa (the owner) a message.

If Melissa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
