“Outstandingly Beautiful & Fantastic Francesco !”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2018

If only we could give this 10*s ! Amazing ! A wonderful villa in a beautiful location ! Very private and secluded yet less than 1km from the port of Argegno and it’s pretty square with many restaurants and an ice cream parlour ! Regular ferry rides on rapid, steam and normal services available to most other ports on Lake Como ! Also the funivia cable car to Pigra is only 1 km away through the quaint village paths ... Spacious bedrooms with air conditioning in 4 of bedrooms and so much space in the rest of the house that no one ever felt on top of one another. A table tennis room and laundry was a great addition ! A bar and huge dining area aswell as the table in the kitchen were available but we chose to sit outside and look at the stunning views morning, noon and night ! The space outside was sensationally planned out and, with direct access to the lake through the boathouse, it’s like having your own huge private pool ! Security is great with electric gates and thecilla is not overlooked at all from any angle ... other than out on the water Francesco is the best host we have ever had on a trip and he couldn’t have been anymore helpful ! So friendly and welcoming and such a pleasure to meet ! Genuinely excited to share his grandparents lakeside home to those who have booked... we wish we could have stayed longer !

“Amazing lakeside villa”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2018

This surely is the most amazing lakeside villa. Stunning property with amazing views of the mountains and lake. The house is excellent with fabulous gardens. We spent an afternoon on the lake in the boat from the villa and used the private chef one evening, all of which are amazing. Its only a 5min walk to the centre of Argegno (about 50m of which is along the main road the rest is pedestrian only) for pastries and morning coffee or great local restaurants in the evening. The house itself has many facilities including boules (floodlight), table tennis and use of a motor boat and the rooms are spacious and private from each other and all with lake views. Excellent holiday.

“Gorgeous location”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2015

Francesco is an excellent host and went out of his way to look after our multigenerational family. Our children had so much fun in the house exploring the grounds and its nooks and quirky rooms. The villa 's location is perfect for exploring the lake.

“Fantastic spot, amazing views, mooring, 1km from Argegno”

Reviewed 2 May 2014

Very nice villa. Superb views. 3 excellent bedrooms all with balconies and 1 further pretty good one. 5th is off another bedroom so more limited use. Mooring is in a boat house, so limits boat to about 26 feet x 2.5 metres. A little shady in the evenings. Argegno is a nice town about 10 mins walk away. About 5 or 6 bars and restaurants. Definitely recommended. Good driveway albeit steep. Parks about 3 cars plus a double garage to use. Electric gates and superb gardens. All in all recommended.
