“Lovely apartment- great location” If you really want to experience life in Lisbon I would recommend this apartment. The area is full of small shops, parks and cafes and you hardly feel like a tourist at all. It's very central, so easy to get to all the sights. The river is also very near for relaxing walks after a day spent sightseeing in the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby, so no need to worry about cooking if you don't feel like it. The apartment itself is in one of the old Lisbon houses (steep steps!), which I thought charming, but offers all the modern amenities you need (good kitchen/bathroom, wifi, TV etc). I stayed for 10 days and it was a perfect place to enjoy Lisbon.
“beautiful, well-stocked vintage modern apt with gracious host” Beautiful apartment, charming vintage modern decor, comfy bed. Perfectly clean, cozy, good natural light, quiet street. Great location...in a nice neighborhood with cafe, shops, restaurants (including amazing bbq takeout), supermarket, subway, and 28 tram/bus all walkable. Cristina is friendly and helpful, and reachable at all times--she and Ricardo helped to make my stay incredibly enjoyable. Can't wait to come back!
“Stylish apartment, sensational views!” We couldn't have asked for a friendlier welcome. The apartment was impeccably decorated, and had everything we could possibly wish for, which gave a real sense of occasion to our holiday. The view from the balcony was certainly the best that we found in Lisbon...and we saw a lot of beautiful views! If we could give it 6 stars we would!
The apartment is right opposite the Rato metro station, about 10 mins walk to the Barro Alto, and 5 mins to Marques de Pompal, so the location is excellent. At the same time it is in a quiet location with a nice terrace at the back. There is a decent size double and a small single room, which was perfect for us; we visited with a toddler and were provided a cot. The host was friendly and helpful and there are lots of tourist guides and books on art throughout the apartment. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Lisbon on foot and by public transport. …
Flowers Apartment in trendy and Principe Real
Nice apartment in a picturesque area
We stayed in this apartement for one week and liked it a lot. It is well equipped, located in a picturesque and lively area with lots of nice restaurants around, close to the metro, bus station and tram, but also close enough to the center to walk. In addition, we got a lot of helpful tips and advices for our stay by the very nice person who took care of the apartment. A great place to stay in a wonderful city. Fully recommended. …
Birds Apartment in trendy Principe Real
Loved the Birds Apartment!
Some friends and I stayed at the Birds Apartment in July, 2014. This apartment was clean and comfortably fit four people. It is located in a darling neighborhood, close to public transportation, has wifi and is near great restaurants. You really get an authentic Lisbon experience here! We liked having a little getting ready area next to the bathroom-it allowed multiple people to get ready at the same time.
The real gem of this apartment is the property manager, Joana. She went above and beyond for us on several occasions. Upon arrival, Joana gave us a list of things to do and see around Lisbon, along with restaurant recommendations. All were fabulous! By the end, we joked that if Joana didn't suggest it, we weren't doing it, because every suggestion was so great. She even recommended places to stay and things to do in other Portuguese cities. Our trip to Portugal honestly wouldn't have been the same without her! …
Amazing city and river views
Best apartment in Lisbon with the best terrace! Highly recommended
Staying at Pedro's place in Lisbon was simply amazing - and it made my experience first time visiting the city even better. The apartment was incredible, well equipped, and of course the terrace and view over Lisbon was breathtaking. It was clean, central, quiet and I could quite easily have spent a few more days drinking cava on the terrace looking over the city.
Pedro was welcoming, very helpful and a very nice guy. He took the time to tell us Lisbon's secrets and it made the perfect start to the trip.
Will be back for sure. …
