Crec'h Mordo Cottages situated near to Pontrieux
Great stay in lovely cottage
Situated in the beautiful countryside of Brittany, our hosts have created a lovely little paradise with just everything you need an could wish for. Janet is a great host, enthusiastic and energetic and is there when you need her. The first evening she came round to give some valuable tips on where to go to within a 30/40 minutes' distance from the cottage.
On arrival there was wine, coffee, tea and a baguette and a pretty bunch of wildflowers to welcome us.
The kitchen even had a washing machine and a coffeemaker.
The rooms were tastefully decorated, it's a place where you immediately feel at home. A really awesome place to stay! …
Manoir Le Cosquer
A lovely place to stay, and perfect hosts
We stayed for a week - three families, all with 2 year olds. The house was perfect for all, space to enjoy time together, or to be more private. Bedrooms were well spaced so that all the children had their own rooms but still close to their parents. Everything that you needed was in the house, including stuff for the children in the garden. The hosts were amazing and were always on hand with advice if needed. We had a great time and would like to go back. Only downside, no heated pool for the adults to play in ... but we knew that when we booked. …
A great place to stay in the Brittany countryside
Had a lovely stay in 'Le Villeberry', getting away from it all. The view from it is fantastic. The 'gite' is spacious, very well equiped and stylishly furnished and the bed amazingly comfy. The Welcome pack came in handy after a long drive and helped survive in style until the next day. Very friendly welcome too. …
Bed and breakfast in Manor
A very peaceful mansion
We received a warm welcome in this peaceful mansion. Farm animals and a romantic garden make this bucolic place. The house is isolated in the countryside and, at the same time, close to the village and shops.
The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Only downside: I stayed with my grandmother who had trouble walking on the large cobblestone driveway and the rather high steps in the old house. …
Le Petit Damelot
Beautiful gite in gorgeous surroundings
We had the most amazing time when we stayed at Le Petit Damelot. The gite is absolutely beautiful, and has been done out to a really high standard. It is modern, bright and comfortable, and we instantly felt at home there. Stuart and Ann have thought of absolutely everything, and anything else we could have wanted (which we didn't- there wasn't anything they hadn't provided!) they were more than willing to get for us. They were incredibly friendly, and were great at advising us the best places nearby for us to visit.
We visited in the middle of February, so we weren't expecting brilliant weather! However the local towns and villages we visited were all absolutely stunning, and we would absolutely visit the area again. Le Petit Damelot was the perfect mix of being beautifully rural, yet close enough that nowhere felt like a long trek to get to.
We absolutely couldn't rate Le Petit Damelot highly enough, the gite was gorgeous and Stuart and Ann were the perfect hosts! We would recommend it to everyone, once you've been once you will fall in love with it as well and be back year after year! …
