“Excellent location & lovely home away from home.” Samantha the owner was prompt in responses to queries and booking was painless. She kept us well informed at all stages and emailed details about the villa and surrounding areas well before our visit. Our damage deposit was returned within 10 days of our return. My husband & I have visited the Mar Menor resort before so were familiar with both the layout of the Baron villas and the resort in general. This particular villa is in an excellent location. It is a few minutes walk from the resort's supermarket & bars/restaurants but far enough away that there is no disturbance from live music playing at night at the nearby bars. The property managers Jenny & Les were on hand for any queries or issues whilst on site, both very personable and helpful, with great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit with teens. The villa itself has a fabulous sized pool which was put to great use daily and without a doubt its best feature. Our two teens & their two friends spent most of their time either in the pool cooling off or in their rooms making full use of the wifi on their various devices! (Pool towels and various inflatables are provided so less to pack!) The kitchen is well equipped though we hardly used it other than for breakfasts and a couple of evening pasta meals. The villa is a good size for a party of 6 and located in an excellent area of Murcia. It's easy to get to the main buzzy towns of Los Alcazares, Lo Pagan, San Javier, San Pedro de Pinatar etc, It's also a short drive to the beaches of Pilar de la Horadada & the historical city of Cartagena. The only reason I haven't given it a full 5 stars is the slightest issue re cleanliness. Certainly nothing major but the oven & bbq weren't to my standard which is why we chose not to use them at all during our stay & two of the bathrooms had not been swept/hoovered properly before our arrival. A couple of the kitchen pans & outside broom have loose handles & need replacing. We bought a sharp carving knife too for cutting up veg for salads as the ones provided were quite blunt. None of these small niggles were bad enough to spoil our stay and are easily addressed for future bookings so would still very happily recommend this villa if you are considering a visit to the area. We were sad to leave and would consider booking it again in the future!

“Excellent accommodation and a great location from which to explore the Murcia region” The location of the property in relation to the airport was excellent and we were very pleasantly surprised on arrival with the very high standard of both the accommodation and the golf resort facilities . Our visit was extremely relaxed and the little touches such as the cycles provided only improved the overall experience . We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for either a short golfing break or a full family holiday.

“Fantastic Villa” We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in Mark's villa. We have been holidaying in this area for the last 7 years and by far this was the best accommodation we have had. This is the first time we have rented a property with a private pool.....and it did not disappoint. The villa is exactly how it is described; private, welcoming and very well equipped. My parents ended up joining us at quite short notice, this was not a problem and everything was ready for us; extra towels and beds made up. The outside area around the pool is huge...even with the 4 of us on sunbeds, we had plenty of space. The 6 seater table in the shade was great to sit and eat lunch and escape the heat for a while. This villa really was a home from home, both myself and my husband were not ready to leave.!!! We would have no hesitation booking again with Mark, and recommending to our friends and family. Thanks again Mark for letting us stay in your beautiful villa.
