“Great villa” Stayed for 10 nights in this fabulous villa. Everything you need. Clean and modern. Comfortable beds too. Had the pool heated which was great. Close to very good restaurants, we preferred the ones a five minute walk up the road to the ones in the main part of Playa Blanca. Good local bars too, especially for a cocktail. It was perfect for us.

“Perfect” Just back from a fantastic stay in Casa Jemma, absolutely stunning property in an ideal location. Loads of room even for 7 of us, lovely sheltered areas for relaxing and eating,the games room got plenty of use from my two teenage boys and the pool is the best we've ever had. We stayed for 10 days and we had 3 towel changes, a bed change and the pool company came twice to check it. There is a lovely walk along the promenade in the evening to restaurants and shops it took about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this property and can't wait to return.

“Perfect Villa and great hosts” We stayed here in July with our 2 teenagers. The villa was spotless and as we arrived after 9pm it was lovely to find the lights on and and mike and Ann waiting to show us round and had a chilled bottle of bubbly and welcome pack. The pool was clean and clear every day and due to the location it was so peaceful. Local shops just a couple of minuites walk and the villa is really well equipped. Would we come back? In a flash! “exceeded expectations” The villa is 5 star - all the furnishings are new and both the inside and the pool areas were spotless - the owners have thought of everything to make the villa a place to chill out and relax - Joanne the owner is professional and easy to deal with - it is in a quiet area but only a short walk into the town - there are many thoughtful little extras provided - hopefully we will be visiting again

“Bliss” We booked a last minute break here in late July. A really well equipped luxury villa in a quiet location with stunning views . We’ve stayed in various villas in playa Blanca over the last 10 years but none come close to casa riptide. The pictures do not do it justice. The villa is spacious and well equipped although we spent most of our time on the veranda, pool and hot tub . Excellent kitchen. The bathrooms are very good with strong showers and enough hot water for four. Comfortable beds. The veranda is big and has stunning views of the sea. Pool is a good size and the hot tub is great and very warm. Overall the property is very well maintained. The location is pretty quiet with a few walkers and fishermen but 10-15 minutes walk to Faro Park supermarkets, restaurants and bus stop with buses to town every 30 minutes. Supermarkets are ok but for fresh meat, deli and fish you need to go to the harbour area or town centre. It’s about 1 hour walk to the town centre or 5-10 minutes drive. Really gutted that we have already booked somewhere else for our winter break next year but won’t be staying anywhere else in Playa in the future.

“Lovely Villa - book it!” Stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it! The owner was really helpful from the outset, offering plenty of advice and we loved all the recommendations for local cuisine, especially Sebastyans! The villa was ideal for us - clean and spacious with everything and more needed to make it feel a real home from home. Would happily recommend this villa - and the pool too!

“Beautiful and secluded” Just back from probably the wettest week in Lanzatote history! However that didn’t detract from what it could have been. The villa is well appointed, with reverse air con (coin meter) which came in very handy when it was chilly. There’s also more boxed sets on the tv than you could watch in a lifetime, very handy when the weather is poor. Everything you could think you want is there, even a torch and hot water bottle! The pool and garden are delightful and the sunbathing terrace by the patio doors is completely secluded. This also offers an amount of shade should you need it. Pool towels are supplied which helps reduce packing, another plus! The garden is lit at night, perfect for evening drinks or bbq by the pool. The lovely owners, Alan and Hazel, were staying next door and were on hand for any issues. These for us were purely rain induced (and only due to the unprecedented amount that fell in one go) but were dealt with without qualms or delay. They also helped on our last day by looking after our luggage while we spent time in town. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and these owners, in fact we are going back in November to see what winter sun is really like!

“A wonderful holiday.” I stayed here as a party of 5 on a girls holiday. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack of cheese, ham, bread, biscuits , wine and beer. A nice touch and we were grateful to sit down and have a quick bite before getting a big shop in. Accommodation was perfect. We each took a room including using the sofa bed as a room. Worked out well. Kitchen had everything you'd need and is even more spacious than the photos would have you believe. Bedrooms are clean and all nicely laid out with plenty of room for clothes etc. Pool was perfect and ideal for families. Lots of pool toys in a covered container and buckets and spades, table tennis and a small putting green. Location is outside of town and a good 25-30 min walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Taxi 3-4 Euro back. Large supermarket opposite the bus station is fully stocked and by far the best place for a big shop. Owner was easy to deal with and very responsive to my queries. Cons: we had some very heavy rainfall while we were staying at villa and when rain came at a certain angle it literally poured into the sofa bed room through a damaged seal window. We used buckets, towels and mops to control it. Agent said this was normal as it comes through the air vents. There was also similar issue in master bedroom but not as bad. This room and bed sheets felt a bit damp. I guess as a result of this occurring frequently over winter months. Agent left a couple of bottles of wine for the inconvenience and replaced towels. I guess this dries over the summer months. Overall however I would highly recommend and would consider returning with my family in the future. It's quiet, secure, private, clean and well equipped.

“Beautiful clean comfortable relaxing villa” We had an amazing family holiday here in July . The outside pool are was spacious & comfortable nice garden clean pool . The bedrooms were clean & comfortable, fully equipped kitchen with two fridges , cooker etc crockery , utensils everything you need , utility room with washing machine., excellent wifi & tv & very comfortable living room . A home from home . There were 7 of us including a 12year old & a toddler & we all had ample space to do our own thing if we wanted The host was fabulous with communication & always relied promptly & is extremely helpful & we had no complaints whatsoever we all really loved this villa

“Excellent villa, great holiday!” Amazing villa, very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Nice quiet location, easy 15-20 minute walk to beach front with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Fantastic outside area, bigger than expected, very well designed, private and sheltered, great pool (which was cleaned 3 times during our 2 week stay) lovely garden and good seating areas. Arrived late and appreciated welcome pack provided. Useful information provided in villa and helpful correspondence from David and Margaret. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

“fantastic villa” What a wonderful villa,we stayed here the end of May with husband,3 sons eldest sons girlfriend and grandson.The villa itself is just how it is the photos ,it was lovely and clean and kitchen was well equipped.The pool was used daily but i would recommend heating on in May it was a bit chilly for grandson.The conservatory was great to sit and have lunch.The surrounding villas were largely empty which for us was a bonus it was quiet and private.We hired a car but didn't use it much,this holiday was for relaxing by the pool and walking to the beach which isn't very far away.A five minute walk is the super market with every thing you need there.Further away you will find some great restaurants (Larnis) Lovely food but a bit on the expensive side.To sum it all up we would go back tomorrow!

“Very impressive villa” Clean, well equipped and spacious villa. Party of 5 spent a very relaxing week here in January. The villa was a really comfortable place to hang out and the pool was fab, particularly when the weather was so glorious. The master bedroom upstairs is really impressive, but the downstairs bedrooms are quite small and both twin bedded, so perhaps not the most suitable for 3 couples. However there are really nice outdoor seating and dining areas, so overall the villa has a spacious feel. Would definitely recommend it.

“Lovely Villa and a great time” This is a lovely villa in a quiet area of Playa Blanca it is very sheltered and gets the sun all day, the villa was spotless, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped, it is 5 minutes walk to the Supermarket and a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the Marina Rubicon where there are lots of great bars and restraints. The owners, Andrea and George, are great to deal with, very friendly and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be going back

“Wonderful holiday” We had a wonderful "switch off" holiday. The villa is lovely - clean - everything is there that you need - even the hair dryers!! The site itself is lovely and the shops and beach all within walking distance. Lovely restaurants to eat in. Everyone really friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.
