“the worst chalet i have ever stayed at in France”

The bedrooms are dark and inconvenient, every time you rise your head up you would hit the beam of the ceiling. It is absolutely traumatic for anyone with height over 1.6m. The sockets are few and loc… More
I am very sorry to hear you feel your stay in Nancroix Secherie was not satisfactory. It is an old Hayloft on the top floor of a traditional Savoyard building and as expected does have beams. We have tried to show in the photos that the beams are there and that the head height in the upstairs bedroom is lower so people can know what to expect. Most people believe this feature only adds to the charm of the apartment so i am sorry to hear you do not agree with this.
We have extension cables in the reception and would have been very happy to provide them during your stay if you had made us aware of this problem. We will make sure extension cables are now in all hard to reach sockets to prevent this from being a problem for future guests.
The apartment is in a small mountain hamlet and therefore the lane will be snowy but i have contacted the local council to see if there is a way for more grit to be put down to prevent the lane from becoming too slippery and also for them to make sure any dog mess is cleared regularly. I would just like to point out that these are public routes/highways and not part of the building but we will do our best to get them cleared and gritted regularly.
I hope this has addressed your issues with your stay and not put you off coming back to our wonderful resort in the future as it is an amazing place to visit!
