Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Quality accommodation in Whitianga north island NZ” The spacious 2 bedroomed apartment on the lower level of Jill's home on this quiet residential hilltop location is somewhere definitely to chill and relax. The view to the sea is superb and we had to tear ourselves away! We enjoyed great weather so we sat outside on the large deck area for our breakfasts ( shaded and unshaded areas) Large modern glassed topped dining table and comfortable chairs with seat pads( look new) Very private and although there is a very modern home next door, due to the design and screens this wasn't a problem. The apartment has been thoughtfully planned out and provides everything, apart from a full sized oven. There is however, a combination type microwave, oven and grill which is excellent, together with a halogen 2 ring modern stove. No dishwasher. Full size fridge and top freezer ( midi size) laundry service offered by Jill. Everything and everywhere sparkles! Complimentary extras ie wine, chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, even oil and tomato sauce ( lots more too) Both bedrooms a great size and linen top quality. We had the best nights sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Hair dryer, extra blankets for the cooler months, toiletries ( part from shampoo & conditioner ) Jill is on hand if anything is needed but equally ensures privacy. Children welcomed here too. We drove to Coromandel town ( 40mins) fabulous scenery on route. Whitianga beach very peaceful and easy parking which is approx 5 mins drive from house.
There is a refundable monetary bond system to pay on booking which was the new to us ( second trip to NZ staying in various types of accommodation) This might put some people off booking but I'd suggest not to worry as it is returned immediately on departure. “The Best accommodation in Russell - A Must!” This accommodation was excellent in so many ways!
Situated directly on the waterfront we had fabulous views of the beach and as such the apartment gets great light throughout.
Being steps away from the town's lovely shops and restaurants was quite a convenient treat.
It's worth noting that the rental is above The Gables restaurant which serves the best food in Northland.
The apartment is spotlessly clean and well maintained with excellent facilities that included a well equipped kitchen and spacious well decorated rooms.
Our favorite times here were when we'd return after a day's outing, open the balcony doors and enjoy the stunning views.
The historic building boasts a great amount of charm with a luxurious interior and all amenities one could need - perfect in every way for our stay.
