“Fabulous villa; picturesque location” Transfers to and from the airport were booked through the owners of the villa. This made smooth and easy start and finish to the holiday as there was no waiting around. This was a quiet family holiday, although only a five minute taxi ride away from the town. Therefore had option to stay at the villa to eat or travel into town to visit the numerous restaurants. The villa has a beautiful pool area, the pool was kept clean throughout our stay.
The villa was spacious and comfortably fit our family of four (with teenagers), with room to spare.
“Perfect in every way” We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our holiday at garden villas. The booking process was so simple and Timur was very helpful. The villa suited our needs, we found it to be very clean, simply furnished but all you need for holidaying. Timur's family were staying at the new villa while we were there, and they are such nice people, nothing is too much trouble. We loved the figs & other fruits they gave us to try.
The pool and gardens are beautiful with fig, orange, pommegranet & lime trees and the tortoise was often seen in the garden.
The location of the villa is great, just round the corner from restaurants and shops and only a few minutes walk to beach & harbour ( at end of harbour walk to the right and you will come to a small secluded beach)
A great holiday villa,we are hoping to get a group together and book all 3 villas for next year
“Perfect family villa in an ideal location for all amenities” The villa is lovely and catered for our every need - there isn't anything unthought of! Simple things like a mobile phone with all the local supermarkets that deliver and restaurant numbers etc. preloaded in there made all the difference. The games room was a massive plus for the boys as they spent the whole time either in the pool or in there!! Our only minor criticism (and we are clutching at straws!) would be the size of the barbecue - rather small for a large party; perhaps a stone built one at the side of the villa would be perfect! Other than that, no complaints about the villa whatsoever!
Karen (villa manager) was absolutely brilliant and at the end of the phone to help when needed. We booked the jeep safari and paragliding trips through her - both of which were fantastic! Due to the public holidays, Karen wasn't able to organise a private boat trip for us as they were so expensive so we ended up booking through a guy who wandered into the garden called Mehmet! He owns his own boat and says he visits the villa regularly when new people arrive. To be fair, he was very genuine, very reasonably priced (£15pp for 12 of us); the boat was lovely; he, his wife and son were all very pleasant, the food was amazing and the trip fantastic. Overall, we would highly recommend him - we had a lovely day for a very reasonable price.
As we had to leave the villa early on our day of departure (a new family were arriving early afternoon and we weren't being picked up until 8pm) we booked a room at Monte Verde - a hotel just down the lane on the main road. They gave us a triple room for £32 from 12-8pm which suited us perfectly (there were 8 of us). The room was basic but the shower and a room to change was really all we needed as we spent the day by the pool (although one of the boys was poorly so spent the time sleeping in an air conditioned room which was a god send). It's not our type of place to stay for any length of time but was fine for the day and the food was nice.
There were no problems with the transfers - both families were picked up on time for the
journeys both ways.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this villa for families. More than 8 may feel a little over crowded - there are loads of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper 2 floors but the ground floor and kitchen aren't quite so large. Saying that, in the hot weather we never really spent much time indoors so wasn't an issue. Having the local supermarket deliver crates of beer, water, bottles of pop, large water bottles for the cooler and anything else you require was really helpful and they don't charge for delivery. Walking distance to all the local restaurants and bars and about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Hisoranu.
Our boys are 11, 12, 14 & 15 so can't really make comments for young children but of note there were loads if high chairs stored in the games room!!
I would definitely recommend the trips we did - just read the book in the villa for tips before you go.
Thanks Sue - brilliant pre and post holiday communication and a fabulous holiday.
“Fantastic top class villa in a traditional village” Two weeks after returning from the Lodge in uzumlu we have spent most of my time wishing that we where still there. We had been to uzumlu before so we knew what to expect from the village.
As we are from Scotland and flew from Manchester we had had a long night since 1 am flight delayed in manchester and arrived in Uzumlu at 4.30pm when we were greeted by Rob who showed us to the villa.
At the villa we were shown round and I was amazed at the quality of the furnishings and the amount of provision that where there. It saved us having to go back out and do some shopping as it would have almost feed ius for a week.
Rob and Jen where fantastic and brought us fresh bread every morning and food parcels throughout the holiday with beautiful home baking. Best sping rolls I have ever tasted. ( I am coming back just for them Jen)
The villas does has everything you need including beach towls which is not always the case.
To round up a fantastic villa with beautiful view in a quite location
“relax, nature and silence in beautiful Datça” old building with modern renewing. very quiet, lots of space inside and outdoors. far away from the crowds, but everything you is available in the house, in the village of mesudiye or in datça. the terace becomes your living-room. beautiful swimming pool, but with the gorgeous beaches nearby, we haven't had enough time to use it. very green surroundings. nice and small restaurants in the villages.last but not least a spectacular view.
“Villa Nisit, Gundugan, Turkey” Stayed at Villa Nisit with 7 of my girlfriends, loved the villa and the pool. The villa is a real home from home, has got everything from a clove of garlic right through to towels both for use in the bathrooms and by the pool.... so more space in your suitcases.... which if you're clever enough can even mean you only need take hand luggage!
It is a little bit of a walk to the neares beach (about 20 mins downhill) - we got a taxi backup. Shop only about a 10 min walk away (uphill - but not that bad) and downhill with the bags! Gundugan (pronouced "Goondwaan and Turkbuku are easy to get to by Dolmus from just up from the villa (although I think they'd stop if you hail them anyway), both are lovely for a nice meal - the fish is to die for!
We had a great week. The owners also arranged airport transfers and a boat trip, both of which worked brilliantly. Would definitely recommend Villa Nisit for a chilled holiday.
Also finally great thing was that when I returned home, I already had an email asking me for details for the return of my deposit - never had that before, quite often have to chase!
