“Beauty at the beach” This is a beautifully designed and furnished home up a hill from a lovely uncrowded beach, about a 15 minute walk into the charming town of Sayulita. Sara, the housekeeper and her husband Fabien, the cook, were outstanding. We went into town for lunch and they cooked us dinner every night. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms lovely and the public spaces gorgeous with beautiful views. The only thing keeping this from total five star is no place to sit around the pool due to the situation of the property, and no hair dryers, so bring your own. but would go back in a minute and loved staying in such a well-designed, beautiful home.

“Completely relaxing” My partner Juli and I, along with my brother and some friends, rented Mariluna for five days in March. Our friend Leah had stayed in El Templito earlier in the year and had regaled us with stories of how beautiful and relaxing Sayulita is, and also how incredibly awesome Mariluna/Templito are - despite her building it up, the experience still surpassed expectations. In fact, we're thinking about making it an annual trip now!

“Magical Escape” My friend and I just returned from 4 amazing nights in Casa Sisal. We had spent a few days in Merida, and the trip to the country was a fantastic counterpart. As you enter the grounds, beautiful landscaping and nature surrounds you. At the center of it all is the contemporary designed house, which exceeded the already high expectations we had before we arrived! The days were warm and relaxing and magical fireflies lit up the grounds as twilight began. Cyndy' suggestions for daily outings were interesting, tasty, and offered many insights into the history and local culture of the region. The caretakers, Bartola and her sister Soco were very warm and helpful and they cooked us an outstanding regional meal, which I highly recommend. We had a great time communicating with them using an iPhone language translation app! We can't wait to return with additional friends in the near future.

“Little slice of paradise” Incredible food. Perfect beach. Professional, talented staff. Great house -- comfortable, classy and laid back, all at the same time. Me and a few friends rented the villa for four days in February, and we had not a single complaint. If you are looking for a low key beach vacation, away from crowds and hubbub, this is a wonderful spot to consider. I can't think of a single complaint. Oh, and the view from the SkyLounge -- exceptional.

“Best rental in Sayulita” My fiancee and I were blown away at how well equipped Magia was. Cameron was very helpful and even so kind as yulitato call and check up on us once we were settled. Do not be discouraged by the location. We read multiple recommendations and reviews all of which painted a picture of a castle on a mountaintop but the location was exactly what we were hoping for. If you're looking for privacy in a secluded, tranquil home, look no further. Albeit a bit of a journey to walk into town, we looked forward to the hike up and down the steep driveway and did it twice a day when we were without transport. We rented a golf cart for the majority of our stay which was both fun and efficient - highly recommend it for those worried about the proximity to town/beach. The sounds of crashing waves was very prominent at night, combined with a gentle breeze that whisked across the hilltop made for a very relaxing atmosphere. Love the pool, love the hammock, the drinkable tap water, the in-sink disposal, the quick internet, the security system, the list goes on... Do yourself a favor and remove yourself from the hustle and bustle. When was the last time your took a shower in the open air?!?

“Wow at the Baja Beach House” what a fabulous place. I woke every morning to an unforgettable sunrise. Walked on the beach, went shelling, sea kayaking. The rooms were great. Kitchen well designed if you want to cook. Also a great dining facility about 2 miles away. We had massages at the house. The pool and hot tub are great to sit and watch the moonrise. I can't wait to go again. I felt safe and relaxed.

“My new favorite place” I was skeptical when I first saw it and google mapped it. However, I went with it anyway and I'M so glad I did. My wife and I went for a week and it was so great to snorkel in peace, relax in peace and go into town and visit the real mexico when we wanted to. We did many different things off the property that were close and amazing. Horseback riding, site seeing and swimming in some Ceynotes. (I'll let you look that one up) The hosts were very nice and helpful. The place was very clean and I've been there twice now. I drove from Cancun the first time - which wasnt bad. Nice to see Mexico on the drive down. On my 2nd visit, I chartered a small 6 passenger plane because my time was so limited - that worked out really well also. I'm not much of a swimmer, but a few minutes on the beach I had the snorkeling figured out and I could have done it all day, everyday. The coral makes the shoreline so fun to snorkel in and around. I would recommend this place to couples and families with children. I've been there with both and we had an amazing time with and without our kids.

“Very nice condo to stay in.” The condo was very nice and in a convienent location. Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck. The only negative was the sheets were not clean and wetl laundry was left in the machines. Aside from that we had a great time.

“Beautiful house” Beautiful housein a great location. Very well designed and on City water//sewer. Convenient to everything in the Yucatan. Wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee with a cigar as the sun rises. Water was warm, sometimes a bit grassy, but I didn't mind. Had an issue which caused us to leave early and I thought the owner should have refunded us for the lost days but she was unresponsive. The rental agency, PVR, was easy to work with and very responsive to our questions, needs, and problem.

“Exceptional Unique Experience” February / March 2013 Just spent a fabulous two weeks at the penthouse. We had been searching for unique accommodations in the PV area and the penthouse delivered beyond our expectations! It is super chill...The combination of its location, privacy, security and serenity was exactly what we were looking for. Many days we had a hard time leaving the rooftop to go do anything else. Being located in the Nuevo Vallarta area you are well situated to visit other locales north such as Bucerias, Sayulita and San Pancho as well as being a convenient bus ride south into downtown PV. As we had friends staying both north and south it proved to be a perfect HQ for our visit. The 270 degree view was an added bonus as there was always something to see from our perch on the rooftop. Dana was an absolutely fabulous host, his thoughtful and personal attention during our stay went far beyond the "call of duty". He was an incredible resource for information about the area and a fun person to spend time time. We definitely feel we have made a new friend. We would love to return as we think we have discovered the perfect spot in the PV area and would highly recommend the penthouse to anyone looking for a truly special experience. “Most relaxing and luxurious vacation ever!” We stayed at Casa Las Brisas for Spring Break. There were eight of us - including 4 teenagers. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. Domingo and Josephina were so helpful and friendly and the house and view were to die for! The food was fantastic, the margaritas were refreshing and the entire complex was beautiful. We spent the week lounging by the two pools reading, going to the beach club, playing tennis, and going for walks in the neighborhood. We were totally pampered all week. We didn't have a care in the world! It was the most relaxing and luxurious vacation we've ever had! We recommend it to anyone and we will definitely go back!

“Gratitude for a great experience” You can add us to the long list of devoted lovers of this fine establishment. We had such a great time here, thanks to the warm and welcoming environment Don and the residents have created. The accommodations were superb: comfortable, attractive, spacious, modern and very user friendly. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the spices, etc left by those there before us. Ditto the washer/dryer. The hospitality Don extended to us was just lovely, from the rides to and from the airport, to recommendations of where to go in and around town. He was spot on. We could never say enough about his generosity and attention to detail. We also love his dog, Rusty, an awesome companion and fun to play fetch with or just to pet and feed carrots to. The condo is very well located, within walking distance of the old town part of San Jose and numerous amenities (beach, estuary, cafes, Mega, live music, galleries, shopping). It was great to have a pool and rooftop deck as well - we saw a beautiful full moon and there was a lunar eclipse the next night. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a vacation and we will see you next year!
