“The accommodation was superb and finished to a high standard” I stayed in this villa in December 2012 with my husband, 2 young children and my parents. The accommodation was superb and finished to a high standard, the only 2 issues I had were 1. there was no gate on the side of the property, which meant that the back patio/pool area were not secure (which was not ideal with having 2 young children) and 2. the pool could not be heated, the pool was so cold that we could not use it, which was a big disappointment.
Location wise the property was quite far out from the town which was nice as it was quiet and peaceful at night time, we had hired a car from the airport and we definitely needed it for getting around as it would have been to far too walk to the beach and the main town.
“Couldn't ask for more” Villa Caldera had everything we needed to make it a fabulous relaxing week. My friend and I each had a bedroom and bathroom, making it a very comfy stay. I'm quite particular about cleanliness and it was spotless. The villa is about 5 mins walk away from a supermarket that has everything you need and a further ten minutes into the Marina. The walk is lovely too along the promenade. Keep going and you get into central Playa Blanca - although a taxi back was welcome at the end of the evening.
I'm glad we'd hired a car as it meant we had more flexibility, and the villa has a space right outside to park. It's just a 5 minute drive to the famous Papagayo beach, where we spent a lovely day.
We had a great week and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again - which is just as well, as I'm going back with my husband in July!
“Fantastic Costa Teguise visit” We loved our self catering stay at this lovely apartment in Costa Teguise. We saw a lot of this beautiful island and visited many beautiful places. We also hired road bikes too and cycled a lot of the island. We were close to the pool, cafes, bars, beach and shops.
