“Best holiday ever!” This has literally been our best holiday ever, so relaxing and a fabulous villa, we couldn’t have asked for more and the sea views from the villa are absolutely stunning. For April the weather was surprisingly hot so we were delighted. The villa is in a great location, lovely and quiet but just ten minutes’ drive from the town of Argostoli, with some fantastic shops and restaurants. The owners, Sharon and Leigh, had given us some wonderful tips about where to do the best shopping, fresh meat and fish from the market and vegetables from the market stalls in Argoostoli, etc.. We are real foodies and they obviously share our passion for cooking. The kitchen has everything you could possible need, and the BBQ in the garden is just brilliant. Our teenage boys enjoyed exploring the beach on their own, so they didn’t have to spend every waking moment with us and the locals are so friendly, many speak English and are happy to help. Even though it was a little early on in the season we did swim in the beautiful pool, and soaked up the sun on the terrace, it was bliss! The upper terrace that leads off the kitchen and living area is the ultimate place for waking up with a coffee, it is bathed in sun first thing in the morning, then offers a shadier spot later on in the day. There is really nothing negative we could say about it all, the villa is immaculate, was as clean as could be and perfectly equipped. We had honestly not expected as many home comforts.
