“What a fantastic Villa and fantastic hosts.” We had a warm and friendly welcome from Lisa and Nigel when we arrived at the villa. During our stay at The Casa Pino Solo Villa Nigel and Lisa went above and beyond what they needed to do as hosts to make our stay pleasurable. It is a beautiful villa with stunning surroundings.This villa meets all the reqiurements to have a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing holiday. The villa is kept in immaculate condition with attention to detail, I have never stayed anywhere that had such immaculately clean bed linen.. As hosts Lisa and Nigel went out of their way to make sure we did not go without anything we needed. We were a large group of 22 and were let down with our car hire the day before we were due at the villa and Lisa and Nigel helped us get to the local ammenities. The children of our group enjoyed their stay just as much as the adults, due to the fact that they had the games area and the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the luxurious jacuzzi. I can confidently speak for the whole group when i say that we would highly recommend a holiday at this villa. We have already started to recommend a holiday at this villa to friends and family and we know they will be more than happy with their holiday.

“The real Spain Beautiful and completely unspoiled” Only about one hours drive from Malaga this beautiful villa is truly in the real Spain,set in beautiful rolling countryside the villa overlooks the lake. We woke up every morning with one of the best views you could ever see. There were six adults and two children and we had something for everybody.. The swimming Pool and all the outside area has an amazing view over the lake, complete with an outside barbecue. The Villa is typically Spanish,comfortable all the amenities that you could wish for . Jose for sure cooks the best paella we have ever eaten in our life and we will be coming to Spain for nearly 40 years .jose it's helpful and speaks perfect English and a great host . A brilliant place for a great holiday with the village of Iznajar only a couple of kilometres away a must visit. With a large number of lovely restaurants to explore.

Lovely villa with a great view

We used the villa as a base for exploring Andalucía with two friends from Australia. Granada Córdoba and the coast are all about an hours drive. Iznájar itself is a very pleasant and interesting small white town. Well worth a walk up. The villa is set on the hillside opposite the town with great views. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The bedrooms are spacious and attractive. Kitchen is compact but well equipped. The lounge area is nice but we didn't use it as the weather was too good to be inside. Plenty of outside space and furniture as well as an outside kitchen with fridge, plancha and BBQ. Lovely pool as well. Plenty of parking. All very secure. The internet isn't super fast but more then acceptable for somewhere in the campo. Domingo was very pleasant and helpful. We had two amazing weeks in Jose’s villa. Jose is exceptionally friendly and helpful which is an added bonus. The views from the villa were spectacular and the pool was a great size for the whole family to swim in. The neighbours dogs are delightful and loved playing with children. Wonderful, relaxing week in this villa with heated pool

We were so lucky to arrive to blue skies and sunshine for the start of our fabulous week at Casa Pino Solo. The fact that the swimming pool is heated is a huge plus at this time of year and made it possible for the whole family, including 5 year old and 1 year old grandchildren, to swim happily in the pool for long periods. Then of course there is the brilliant, HUGE jaccuzzi to get into to warm up after the swim.......or to indulge with a glass of excellent Spanish Cava and admire the sensational views. The villa is set in the midst of beautiful rolling hills, olive groves, and the view from the upper terrace is really uplifting. The location of the villa is ideal as it is close to the charming village and lake of Iznajar and for the more adventurous, Cordoba, Granada and Seville are all reachable. But as all reviewers have said, this property and this holiday is made extra special by the lovely owners, Lisa and Nige, who go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met and that nothing should get in the way of you having a perfect holiday. Best pool ever

Beautiful villa with a large pool kept immaculately clean by Tom the owner. Surrounded by olive groves and lots of outside space and seating areas. Lake is about 10 mins drive and there is plenty of parking at the beach and a nice little cafe for drinks after swimming. If you fancy a day trip, Cordoba and Granada are only an hour away by easy motorway. Coast is about the same but we did not do that as it was a bit too hot while we were there. Lovely fortnight away with our three teenagers. It was a blessing that wifi only worked in one area of the villa (the indoor courtyard area) so it meant we could even keep tabs on how much time was being wasted on screens! … see more

Relaxing break in a lovely cottage with stunning views

My husband and I are just back from a 2 week break in this fantastic cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts, Carol and Jim have thought of everything to make for an enjoyable holiday. On arrival we found the fridge and cupboards stocked with beer, cava, water, milk, soft drinks, pasta and cereal which were very welcomed. Pool towels also provided. There is also a good selection of books and dvds and if you have children games to keep them occupied. The outside area has stunning views of Lake Iznajar and Olive Groves and also the village. There are sun loungers by the pool and also seating on the lower terrace - with options to stay in shade or lie in the sunshine. While we were here we visited Antequera, Malaga, Alhambra, Granada, Cordoba and Ronda which are easy to get to. We did have a couple more trips planned but were just so relaxed at the cottage that we dropped them so we could take advantage of the surroundings. The town of Iznajar is beautiful and I would recommend a walk to the top of the town to capture the views and also to look at church and cemetery. The town itself has a few supermarkets and a good choice of restaurants which are very reasonably priced. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday and just want to thank Carol and Jim (and also their lovely dogs George and Finn) for ensuring this was possible. They are both available if you need help but also very discrete. Thanks also to Jim for the cider recommendation - still got a couple of bottles left to remind us of the lovely sunshine! When we travel, we enjoy a balance between being on the go (sightseeing, museums, historical monuments, ect.), and building some quality down time to relax and enjoy some recreational time together. We found just that and more staying in this lovely, clean, and well equipped mini-villa in the south of Spain. The in ground pool was a bonus and local sight seeing ideal. In addition, the historical wonders of Cordoba and Granada were within a 60 minute drive. Our host Kath was always available to assist us, and she went out of her way to arrange for the loan of a guitar to make my stay that much more enjoyable.
