“Delightful, spacious, comfortable villa” Very comfortable, clean, well-equipped, spacious villa. Lovely garden and swimming pool, a perfect haven to return to after a hard days sight-seeing or walking in the hills. Tom and Frank were perfect hosts - always on hand if needed but never intrusive. The pool and garden were discreetly 'serviced' every day. Very well situated - Lodeve, a typical , unspoilt southern French town , is a 10 minute walk down the hill and the GR7 long-distance footpath is a short walk up the hill. The area is great for walking; we particularly enjoyed the Cirque de Navacelles and walking on the Larzac plateau.
Would definitely recommend to a friend and hope to return ourselves next year.
“The best Villa I have ever stayed in” This Villa has everything you need to have a fantastic break, every cooking utensil you could imagine, the pool is warm and inviting, the beds are comfy, the aircon is high quality, plenty of things to do. we had a brilliant holiday and will definitely be going back in the next few years
“Book now!” We stayed at this fantastic secluded spacious villa with stunning views across the picturesque local area for eleven night in July/August. The house is furnished to a very high standard and had everything we needed to make it home away from home. The bedrooms are a good size and living areas and terrace (overlooking the pool) are perfect places to relax. The house has several bathrooms and bedrooms on either side of the house which make it ideal for a couple of families to share. The kids absolutely loved the pool which is in very private and in excellent condition.
The Villa is within easy walk to Lamalou town centre (a mile or so away ) which has some nice restaurants and a couple of boluangeries and a very nice boucherie. The town market held on Tuesday mornings is well worth a visit. A few miles away in Hérépian is a large Intermache which sells everything else you could need. The beach at Sérignan (the best we found during our stay) is about 40-45 minutes away bay car. The gorge near Mons la Trivalle was also an excellent day out.
All in all a lovely property in a great area, equally suited to a relaxing or active stay. Highly recommended, we'd definitely book again.
“Perfect. Best Ever Holiday” Birlliant location fabulous garden and large pool with diving was great
Walks on restricted roads , bikes provided for trips , loads to see and do
but local village and restaurants very much in character of small french village
I really enjoyed being near the beach but not on the beach although having seaviews
It alloed us dip in and out of that packed beach culture but also big open beach areas on west beach where there were lots of on beach activities beach voleyball rounders and sailing organised daily
I will come back to learn kite surfing really looks like fun
“Gorgeous villa” We had such a great holiday staying at this lovely property.
Villa is spacious, very clean and very comfortable.
Our two girls (12 & 14) were delighted to have a bed room each. Large sofas and comfy chairs in living space. A very well equipped kitchen.
The pool is great, we used it a lot.
Supermarket is very close, and is well stocked. We often got our bread from here in the mornings. Good selection of wine too.
Pezenas town Center about 20 mins away on foot. We walked in once or twice a day. The town is lovely, with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.
Tour de France passed through the town during our visit. Just 10 min walk from the villa. That was quite exciting.
We also enjoyed the Bastille Day fireworks. There was a great holiday atmosphere in Pezenas on those days.
The Saturday market is amazing.
Richard, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. So friendly and helpful.
As were everybody we came in contact with, Maria, her husband and the cleaners we met as we were leaving. Everybody was so nice.
All 4 of us would love to return, and would recommend it highly.
