“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“Week in Paradise!!!” We had the most amazing family vacation at Papakea G-407. The complex is located in a great area, close and convenient to shopping, dining, awesome beaches. It is small enough to feel like its your personal space, but has amenities and class of the big mega resorts. The actual unit was very comfortably furnished, had everything we needed, and extras we were not expecting. Sitting on the Lanai, watching the ocean over breakfast and dinner or enjoying a glass of wine was just the best! Our family really loved the fact that the condo was affordable to the point that we could get out, explore and enjoy all that Maui had to offer. Great Snorkeling, Zip-lining, Luau, shopping, many fantastic restaurants and a sunset vow renewal on the beach. The best part of renting from anne and Wes is the care that they took to make sure we had everything we needed for the best vacation ever. Lots of advice and tips that you cannot get from anyone unless they know the island. They turned us on the the best places to snorkel, places to eat, places to shop, things to do. The personal attention was better than any concierge! My family will definitely be back, there is no reason to test out another resort!

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“25th anniversary in Maui” Honokowai Palms is just what we needed for our 25th anniversary. Comfortable, convenient, full of amenities, and clean. The information provided was a tremendous help to make our stay both enjoyable and also more affordable. We loved staying in a condo that had it all from appliances to beach gear. The location was just right...next to a wonderful farmers market and coffee shop. 5 minutes from awesome shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The park right across the street is perfect for families to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, viewing turtles or just relaxing on the beach or in the grass. There are plenty of places within walking distance for meals, spa treatments or shopping. What ever your schedule might be, there are suggestions for the best places to go across the island. The books on Maui really helped find hiking spots and sight seeing locations. The condo is right in between to big resort locations, but feels like your home town with where its situated. One of the best beaches that is a cove is right up the road north in Napili for board activities, family outings and even has 2 restaurants. The owners of the condo thought of everything to make the best of your time on the island without breaking the bank. My wife and I couldn't have had a better time even in the big resorts because we were in charge and our parking spot was right in front of the door. Remeber to take time to just relax and lay on the beach, coffee in the morning and/or drinks in the afternoon were awesome on the beach right in the park 100yds from the condo. Don't pass up the volcano, Whaler's village (good shopping, beach area and eateries on the beach with live music), Front Street in Lahaina and Honolua Bay. Parking is the only challenge around the island, look for blue beach access signs, the open areas on the side of the roads, or just ask the locals and condo owners. The only way you can't have a good time is if you turn on the TV and sit on the couch all day! Enjoy Maui!

“Kauhale apartment was just what we were looking for & more!” Kauhale apartment was perfect for our family while visiting Oahu. Our son was returning to Hawaii from deployment and we wanted a place where we could visit, relax, and do some home cooking. Kauhale was just what we were looking for and more! Patty & Bob had all the amenities we needed for a perfect beach vacation, including all the right kitchen tools for a family meal. The apartment is located in a great town with everything you need close by. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Hawaii.

“Awesome!!!” My three friends and I had a wonderful experience staying at this condo. It was welcoming and we were very comfortable the whole time we stayed. I would love to stay again in this condo next time I get a change to go back.

“Amazing Views and Fabulous Comfort” With amazing ocean views from every room and beautiful furnishings throughout you may be tempted to never leave this condo. But the perfect beach with a great snorkeling spot just steps away will lure you out. My husband and two teenage daughters felt we were vacationing in the lap of luxury.

“Excellent Value for an authentic Hawaii Experience!” My cousin and I stayed in Hale Kawehi for two nights. Our host could not have been more warm and welcoming. Kawehi made it clear she was available to answer any of our questions or provide advice; otherwise we had total privacy. Juice, milk, bagels, and eggs were left in the refrigerator each morning. The house is very spacious, with lots of rooms to explore. It is filled with antique treasures and unique, one-of-a-kind objects. The outside garden area is enchanting. There are also several outdoor seating areas; all lovely. Mr. Princess is the most friendly and loving cat I've ever met. He was a pleasure to have around outside. I had two issues which I feel the need to share. First, the local coqui frogs are quite noisy at night. I was fine because I had earplugs, but you should be aware of this ahead of time. Second, there was an odor of cat inside, although guests are asked not to let Mr. Princess in the house. Since we mainly slept there, it wasn't an issue. It might be, though, if you plan to spend a lot of time inside the house. All in all, my experience was positive and I'm very glad I stayed here.

“Great Accommodations.” Our family had a great time staying in the very well equipped condo. The amenities are top notch and new. The place has been recently renovated and is very comfortable with each room being air conditioned. The Murphy bed in the living area was awesome when compared to a pull-out couch. Great Place and we will definitely be coming back!!

“Memorable!” Our visit to the north shore of Oahu was incredible. We discovered, a nice house for our 7 day stay in Hale Malaekahana. Our first visit to the beautiful north shore was everything we imagined about Hawaii. The renters were very gracious about allowing us to use their home for our vacation. Only a few feet from the beach to swim and we got up early to enjoy the sunrise with a nice cup of coffee and a walk on the beach. If we had known there was a walking path on the highway, we would have brought our running shoes along. The locals were friendly and everyone we met were helpful on places to shop and eat. Our next visit to Oahu, will be only on the northshore and using trip advisor. That's how we found our place in Hale Malaekahana.

“Fantastic trip to Maui and stay at Maui Kai” My husband and I were looking for both a fun and relaxing trip to Hawaii. Staying at the Maui Kai was truly fantastic, a great home base for our vacation!! We loved the fact that it was right on the beach, and we could go for jogs or walks along it anytime we wanted to. There was also a boardwalk a few steps from the condo building where we could walk/jog for what seemed like forever - just fantastic!! We were able to walk all the way into Whaler's Village and beyond on it. We found a Starbucks right on the beach and chilled out for several hours watching the surf and breathing the ocean air. We rented a car while there which gave us maximum freedom to get around. There is a great little shopping plaza right down the lane from the condo which allowed us to get a some groceries and other things we needed, as well as having a few restaurants close-by. We were able to make healthy meals at home, and use the Bbqs as well, or we could go out to eat as well. We really liked the variety and options. The condo building was immaculate, and very well maintained, although it is an older building, it was well very well taken care of. We were able to watch the sun set at night on the beautiful lanai, which was dreamy. Although we didn't stay in unit #806 as they didn't have full availability while we were there, Art & Sophie Nickel took care of us and ensured we were set-up in another room for our stay. All I can say was that it was a true pleasure dealing with art, he called us directly to prepare our reservation,gave us lots of great info, answered all of our questions and ensured we got a great unit on one of the top floors. We highly recommend the Maui Kai - it was just perfect all around, and we will be going back for sure!!!

“Home away from home.” Wow, what can I say Gary, your place was such a nice surprise. Actually from the reviews I kinda expected somewhere nice and comfy, yet when I arrived I was still pleasantly surprised. Located at the 30th floor, Garys place is never too hot. We seriously didn't need the air con the whole time we were there and I was glad for it. Seriously, fresh air or conditioned air... I'd take fresh air every time! The kitchen was a definite plus, as we could have brekkers in the room and dinner if we wished. The best thing about the condo was coming back after a long day at the malls/beaches, and just winding down in front of the tv. My kids loved the space, and the sofa bed was actually quite comfy, and huge! Not to mention the massive king size for me and the hubby. Seriously great, especially seeing as we've got a superking at home and it's hard to go from a superking to a queen I tell you! Anyway, thank you so much for providing such a nice place at such an affordable price especially for families like mine who are travelling on a budget! I would stay back here in a heart beat. I just wish you had more days available for me and my family to stay, because it beats staying at a hotel any day!

“A Fantastic and Relaxing Week!” A beautiful cottage right on the waters edge. The house looks just like the photos. One of the best family vacations we have ever had. Can't wait to go back to this lovely house! Very relaxing and comfortable. There are turtles that live in the cove, and we saw them every time we went in the water!

“My happy place!” I have had the pleasure of staying at Valley Isle twice, the last time with my wife celebrating our one year anniversary. My parents have been going to Valley Isle for years and told me of this quiet place that is right on the beach with a price and a view that can't be beat. Finally I went with them and found out they were right. During the season you have to take the short drive to Lahaina to get up close and personal with the whales, but eating breakfast on the lanai (deck) and seeing them breach is just an amazing experience. I found the drive is short enough to be convenient to everything Lahaina offers but far enough away from the crowds and the noise. We loved the home feel of the condo. To keep within our budget we ate out one night and ate in the next. There a lot of great dining options close to Valley Isle, but there is also a lot to say for a romantic dinner with a view you won't forget. Speaking of the view, it is truly incredible which can be enjoyed from the living room, bedroom or my favorite, the spacious lanai (deck). We just booked our next trip and I recommend that you do the same!

“Fantastic comfortable base to explore wonderful Maui” I can't say enough good things about this lovely condo! - Linda the owner was so helpful throughout the booking process and our stay and returned our security deposit really quickly! she sent us loads of really useful info. which helped us 1st timers to Maui. To say we loved it is an understatement, the condo is just as described/pictured, its huge!! and is a few minutes across the road from the lovely Kamaole Beach Park. You have everything you need here for a fantastic holiday, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers the lot. The pool at the condo is clean and well maintained and on the days we used it we had it mostly to ourselves, The rooftop terrace and BBQ area is brilliant, but we only used it once as there are more than enough restaurants within walking distance of the KBR to keep you busy for a few weeks, sadly we only had 9 days (loads of shops too) Will definitely return here, its a fantastic base to explore Maui as you are in the middle of the island. We went to a few other resorts on our travels, but definitely made the right decision to stay here. I would recommend to anyone especially families or small groups as its a great size.
