“Second to none...” We stayed in Kyle's unit (306) in late July. Although our travel plans were unexpectedly changed at the last minute because of United airlines and Tropical Storm Flossie, Kyle was very understanding and accommodating. I can vouch for everything the other reviewers have written. The setting was beautiful, and watching the surf and the surfers from the Lanai was a great way to begin and end the day as we enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. The unit was private, clean, modern, equipped with a full complement of snorkeling, boogie boards and other toys. It was also remarkably quiet (other than the sound of the surf), and the location was convenient to Kailua and conveniences. A small, friendly grocery store was located right across the street. When we return to Kona, we will not look elsewhere!

“Perfect location!” This condo was perfectly located in a quiet area and perfect walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants! The unit was better than the pictures, the shower was spotless and newly renovated. Comfy bed, A/C in the unit and everything you need to be comfortable. Would recommend and will definitely be back! “The best place to stay” We stayed in this awesome rainforest cabin for our honeymoon. The owners are gracious and totally accommodating. The grounds are clean & in excellent shape! The cabin is beautiful! The ambiance is more than we expected and we would stay there again anytime and recommend it to anyone! Easy access yet you feel like you're in a jungle!

“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. “Definitely will be back!” This unit is one of the nicest we've stayed in at Sugar Beach Resort. The view was breath taking. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and supplies. Everything seemed updated and fresh - from the flat screen Tv's to the Ipod dock and having wireless. Loved the granite countertops and raised bar. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends and can't wait to come back

“Exceptional home away from home!” Just as described, the kihei oasis is an excellent vacation rental. The layout of the home, furnitionings and it's convenient surroundings, I would definitely recommend staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit, but the real bonus was the little amenities that you don't really think of until you need it. I opened the kitchen cabinets and found foil, oil, shoyu sauce and lots of helpful seasonings. The bathroom cabinets also had additional body wash, shampoo, lotion and for kids too. Although we brought our own amenities, I'm glad you have them available especially for large families. Also a garage wall dedicated to fun in the sun activities, boardgames and so much more. Mahalo to the Morts ohana for providing such a lovely home away from home, We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

“25th anniversary in Maui” Honokowai Palms is just what we needed for our 25th anniversary. Comfortable, convenient, full of amenities, and clean. The information provided was a tremendous help to make our stay both enjoyable and also more affordable. We loved staying in a condo that had it all from appliances to beach gear. The location was just right...next to a wonderful farmers market and coffee shop. 5 minutes from awesome shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The park right across the street is perfect for families to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, viewing turtles or just relaxing on the beach or in the grass. There are plenty of places within walking distance for meals, spa treatments or shopping. What ever your schedule might be, there are suggestions for the best places to go across the island. The books on Maui really helped find hiking spots and sight seeing locations. The condo is right in between to big resort locations, but feels like your home town with where its situated. One of the best beaches that is a cove is right up the road north in Napili for board activities, family outings and even has 2 restaurants. The owners of the condo thought of everything to make the best of your time on the island without breaking the bank. My wife and I couldn't have had a better time even in the big resorts because we were in charge and our parking spot was right in front of the door. Remeber to take time to just relax and lay on the beach, coffee in the morning and/or drinks in the afternoon were awesome on the beach right in the park 100yds from the condo. Don't pass up the volcano, Whaler's village (good shopping, beach area and eateries on the beach with live music), Front Street in Lahaina and Honolua Bay. Parking is the only challenge around the island, look for blue beach access signs, the open areas on the side of the roads, or just ask the locals and condo owners. The only way you can't have a good time is if you turn on the TV and sit on the couch all day! Enjoy Maui!

“Best Vacation Ever” This was an amazing vacation from the very start. Even before we left I was able to speak with Ning about the home and the area. She had some great suggestions about different activities and restaurants. The home was fantastic. It was way more room than we needed with 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen and spacious living room. The highlight of the home for us was the wrap-around lanai. I was nice to just sit outside and relax in the bright sun and refreshing trade winds. The amenities in the home were also outstanding. “Kauhale apartment was just what we were looking for & more!” Kauhale apartment was perfect for our family while visiting Oahu. Our son was returning to Hawaii from deployment and we wanted a place where we could visit, relax, and do some home cooking. Kauhale was just what we were looking for and more! Patty & Bob had all the amenities we needed for a perfect beach vacation, including all the right kitchen tools for a family meal. “A Vacation Experience to Remember” Our stay experience at this incredible Honua Kai penthouse complex exceeded our expectation. We are a family of seven and this home served our sleep needs, dining, and comfort needs, in a clean and stylish decor. The lanai was spacious with doors that opened to all three sides of the complex, we ate all our meals outside on the spaciously accomodating patio table. The large home provided alcoves of private space for relaxation and rest. For the most part, the kitchen was perfect. We would suggest servicing of the dishwasher, the sensor light was not functioning. In addition, be certain to have the refrigerator/freezer turned on in sufficient time to house your purchased groceries. Cooking amenities are provided. However, it would have been great to have a rice cooker included. One of the highlights of this location is the easy access to the beach and on the premise pools. We personally enjoyed walking out to the local beach and definitely utilized the beach amenities provided by the homeowner. This is definitely a vacation we will remember for a lifetime. We have already shared this hidden secret accommodation with family and friends!

“Delightful stay for family of 5” Staying here was a wonderful experience we had from start to finish. The rental arrangements went smoothly and when we arrived Barb and Walt met us at the lobby and made us feel at home right away. Barb answered all of our questions and gave us some good ideas for our stay. She was so helpful and attentive - she is on site most of the time - so if you need anything she is just a phone call away. I just can't say enough wonderful things about Barb and Walt - they really made us feel like family - not just renters! The condo exceeded our expectations. The size is perfect for a family of five and less expensive than renting a 2 bedroom. Don't worry about it not being an ocean view because the view from the condo is incredible. There is a large lanai with a view of a waterfall, beautiful grounds, and sweeping mountains in the background. Each morning you can watch the sunrise over the mountains...what a treat! The condo has everything you need - we cooked a lot of our meals there and I was impressed at how well the kitchen was stocked. They also have beach supplies - sand toys, chairs, boogie boards and floaties for the pool. The resort is so lush and beautiful with pools and hot tubs winding throughout integrated with waterfalls and amazing plants and trees. Having Dukes on the property is a nice treat too - we loved the 'Aloha Hour' from 3-5pm with great drink and appetizer (pupu) specials! The location is great - the beach has a nice reef area that you can snorkel right there. The kids did plenty of swimming and boogie boarding on the beach there too. We had a wonderful time and will hopefully be returning soon & recommending renting from Barb & Walt to our friends! Mahalo!!

“A slice of heaven!” My husband and I loved our 3 week stay at Tracy's Tropical Treasure #1. The condo was amazing and had every conceivable luxury that we needed. Tracy kept in touch with us in case we needed anything and was always quick to provide excellent service. Another bonus was having the pool 3 doors down from us; the hot tub was awesome and both the pool and tub were very, very clean.We were so happy that we have already booked Tracy's Tropical Treasure #2 for next year.

“Clean, affordable lodging on the Big Island” We stayed in the studio yurt at Hawaiian Journeys for a week in between stays on other islands. The managers were very easy to deal with, informative, and helpful. The yurt was new, clean and well appointed for a studio. The one drawback was the incinerating toilet, which did provide a burning odor if the wind blew the right? direction. The seperate toilet/shower building for the 1 BR and 2BR would probably be better. The location is ideal if you are traveling to both sides of the island for activities and sight seeing. If you prefer to stay in one spot, it is a bit isolated, but very peaceful. The price was definitely right too!

“An excellent vacation rental” The place is loaded with anything you could imagine to accommodate your stay. The rental is in a great location also. Fresh fruit everywhere, we defiantly took advantage of the lime trees. The place is very well kept and in mint condition. Watching the sunrise off the lanai while eating breakfast was very nice. Second time staying in Tracy's places, different place each time, will be coming again no doubt. What a great experience.
