“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“Definitely will be back!” This unit is one of the nicest we've stayed in at Sugar Beach Resort. The view was breath taking. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and supplies. Everything seemed updated and fresh - from the flat screen Tv's to the Ipod dock and having wireless. Loved the granite countertops and raised bar. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends and can't wait to come back

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“A Home away From Home” We stayed in the 2nd floor unit. It's beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the comforts of home. We will come back and stay in this unit as often as we return to Maui. Everything you need for the beach is there, so don't use suitcase space to bring anything other than your swimsuit. The 2 weeks we were there, the trade winds weren't blowing - very unusual according to the locals. It made the unit very hot and humid without the aC. But the aC worked great, except in the bedroom. We only used the bedroom to sleep in, so it didn't ruin the charm and comfort of the unit. The location is perfect. I wouldn't stay anywhere but Kihei. We travelled all over the island, and while there are beautiful places all over Maui, Kihei is the best place to stay. Especially the area where the unit is located. It's on the edge of the beach condo neighborhood, with the resort and high end homes just to the south. The beaches are fantastic. All powder soft sand, including in the water. No need for water shoes as there are no rocks, except for the rocky area between the beaches to the north and south. The Kamaole II beach is large, so we never had any reason to go to either of the bordering beaches. From the condo to the airport clear on the other side of the island is maybe 14 miles-nothing. You do hear your neighbors though. The louvered windows throughout the complex doesn't make for a lot of privacy. You can hear your neighbors below and to the side and next to them. Though everyone is very courteous and respectful of everyone else, so it wasn't really a problem. We didn't have any children anywhere near during our stay, so depending on your attitude, it could end up being pretty noisy, or a joyful experience. Bottom line, we loved our stay on Maui, and our stay in the condo, and would live there full time (Maui & condo) if we could afford the lifestyle. You will not be disappointed, or wonder if another unit is better than this one - they just won't be.

“25th anniversary in Maui” Honokowai Palms is just what we needed for our 25th anniversary. Comfortable, convenient, full of amenities, and clean. The information provided was a tremendous help to make our stay both enjoyable and also more affordable. We loved staying in a condo that had it all from appliances to beach gear. The location was just right...next to a wonderful farmers market and coffee shop. 5 minutes from awesome shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The park right across the street is perfect for families to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, viewing turtles or just relaxing on the beach or in the grass. There are plenty of places within walking distance for meals, spa treatments or shopping. What ever your schedule might be, there are suggestions for the best places to go across the island. The books on Maui really helped find hiking spots and sight seeing locations. The condo is right in between to big resort locations, but feels like your home town with where its situated. One of the best beaches that is a cove is right up the road north in Napili for board activities, family outings and even has 2 restaurants. The owners of the condo thought of everything to make the best of your time on the island without breaking the bank. My wife and I couldn't have had a better time even in the big resorts because we were in charge and our parking spot was right in front of the door. Remeber to take time to just relax and lay on the beach, coffee in the morning and/or drinks in the afternoon were awesome on the beach right in the park 100yds from the condo. Don't pass up the volcano, Whaler's village (good shopping, beach area and eateries on the beach with live music), Front Street in Lahaina and Honolua Bay. Parking is the only challenge around the island, look for blue beach access signs, the open areas on the side of the roads, or just ask the locals and condo owners. The only way you can't have a good time is if you turn on the TV and sit on the couch all day! Enjoy Maui!

“Great Accommodations.” Our family had a great time staying in the very well equipped condo. The amenities are top notch and new. The place has been recently renovated and is very comfortable with each room being air conditioned. The Murphy bed in the living area was awesome when compared to a pull-out couch. Great Place and we will definitely be coming back!!

“Best vacation ever !!!” This studio apartment was great!!! Excellent location, clean, great building and many extras that isn't included in the description, such as cooler, beach chairs, shopping cart, etc. I'm sure that is impossible to find a better studio apartment in Waikiki. Just keep in mind, this is a studio, if you need a huge apartment, its not for you. We stayed 20 days and it was hard to leave. Thanks Kelly Cicero Seisdedos

“Secluded and Romantic Island Getaway” For our first trip to Maui, my husband and I decided that we wanted to stay some place away from the hustle and bustle of the beach condos. And boy are we glad that we did!! The cottage was spacious and perfectly sized for us. Although we love the beach we were so happy to be able to drive back to our quiet and private cottage. It was the perfect location to go explore the island -- from the drive to hana, to haleakala, to the western and southern parts of the island we feel like were able to see everything we wanted. And the most delicious fish market is right down the street. If we ever decide to go back to Maui, we will not be looking for another place to stay. Thank you Barbara and Hank!

“Great place to celebrate milestones!” Hideaway Cove's Big Kahuna was the perfect house for 9 college friends celebrating 60th birthdays! We had plenty of room to spread out or to sit altogether playing games. The house was well equipped and furnished very nicely. Being next door to an amazing Italian restaurant was a plus! A short walk to the beach, Happy Hour at Brennecke's, and the peacefulness of a neighborhood versus a resort all added to the pleasantness of the stay. The owners were most helpful and easy to work with. We are ready to go back!

“Fantastic comfortable base to explore wonderful Maui” I can't say enough good things about this lovely condo! - Linda the owner was so helpful throughout the booking process and our stay and returned our security deposit really quickly! she sent us loads of really useful info. which helped us 1st timers to Maui. To say we loved it is an understatement, the condo is just as described/pictured, its huge!! and is a few minutes across the road from the lovely Kamaole Beach Park. You have everything you need here for a fantastic holiday, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers the lot. The pool at the condo is clean and well maintained and on the days we used it we had it mostly to ourselves, The rooftop terrace and BBQ area is brilliant, but we only used it once as there are more than enough restaurants within walking distance of the KBR to keep you busy for a few weeks, sadly we only had 9 days (loads of shops too) Will definitely return here, its a fantastic base to explore Maui as you are in the middle of the island. We went to a few other resorts on our travels, but definitely made the right decision to stay here. I would recommend to anyone especially families or small groups as its a great size.
