“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“just what we were looking for” Our (family of 3) stay at this condo was great. It had everything we needed and fit our budget. It was very clean, comfortable and close to beaches, shopping and surfboard rentals. The bus is also close and affordable. The neighbours and manager were friendly to us and the owners were easy to reach when we had a question. We'll be back to maui in 2014 and would rent this condo if it's available.

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“Great place to stay.” We were very pleased with the location. Enjoyed watching the surfers daily & all our side trips were excellent including seeing lava. The place was very clean with good beds. Lots of extras & really liked the filtered cold water. We had one day with hugh waves so made watching the surfers & body boarders very exciting.

“5 Days in Paradise” We booked 5 nights at Kona View Estate - I just wish we'd booked more. The accommodation was fantastic for our young family and our hosts could not have looked after us better. We spent hours in the pool after sight seeing. The boys spent longer swimming as I cooked dinner on the BBQ keeping an eye on them. We woke to a carafe of hot coffee on our first morning, had an endless supply of oranges which we juiced and atsumi made us some wonderful cookies. We would highly recommend Kona View Estate as well as Randy and atsumi - very genuine couple. We would definitely stay there again.

“Perfect location” The condo is perfectly located - across the street from the beach, walking distance to great restaurants (Cafe O Lei has the best lunch deal going!) and shops. The condo is furnished with everything you need, and the owners are super responsive and easy to work with. Only slight downside is the noise from the elevator and walkway located right outside the bedroom. But the price, location and amenities make up for that. We'll be back.

“Great place! Great location!” My family and I stayed here for 5 days and we were happy to find out that this condo unit is exactly as it looks in the pictures! It was clean and well stocked and just enough space for a family of 6. We appreciated the conveniences of having wi-fi access and the free parking pass because finding parking around Waikiki can be quite difficult. We also liked the fact that the condo was in a great location in Waikiki. We were across the street from Starbucks, the aBC store, Mc Donalds, and within walking distance to the International Marketplace, Duke's and the Royal Hawaiian Center. Best of all, the bus stop is right in front of the Royal Kuhio so a car isn't necessary. The only downside was that since it is in the heart of Waikiki, it can get a little noisy at night when you're trying to sleep. But the noise didn't bother us at all. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone! My family and I would definitely stay here again. Edna has been great to work with and she responded to my messages rather quickly and she was eager to help make our stay comfortable. Thanks again so much, Edna! Aloha!

“Fantastic condo with amazing view!” We were looking for a beach front condo for our trip to Waikiki. We found exactly what we needed with this condo. The view is breath taking and you will find everything you need in the condo to have a great vacation. I appreciated the free WiFi , beach chairs and umbrella. “Absolute pleasure to stay at.” The owners are very gracious hosts and have provided an awesome studio to stay in. they have thought of everything to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. It is quiet and yet a short walk to a great sand beach. Easy to get to and from, close to everything and yet far enough away to feel like you belong there. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again and again.

“Easy and Relaxing Vacation” We stayed in #401 and appreciated the open and cool airflow afforded by this corner unit, - a very adequate alternative to air conditioning, - and the choice of patios for breakfast, (sun or shade, breeze or shelter). We had no problem following the check-in instructions for parking, key retrieval, and unit access, and never actually met anyone from administration. The unit was very clean and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, bedding, and beach towels, as well as the 'beach bin' on the patio. Lovely outlook to the beach. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing, uncomplicated week on the beach, - and we found it at Pat's at Punaluu 401

“Lovely condo” I was looking for a place to stay in Maui that was not a noisy hotel. This condo was perfect. It's in a great location, just steps from the beautiful ocean and at a great price. “Relaxing vacation in a newly renovated Condo on a semi-secluded” Beautiful condo within the well kept Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. The condo has an incredible location just 20 feet from the beach by private pathway. The black sand beach is home to several sea turtles that make there way up onto the shore to sunbathe during high tide. Short 10 minute walk to grocery store and restaurants, and shuttles leave hourly into town from the adjacent hotel. Would highly recommend staying at this hidden gem.

“You will love Kahana Sunset!” We have stayed at Kahana Sunset many times and absolutely love it. It is truly a unique property - I don't know of any other property on Maui like it. The sandy beach is awesome...it's never crowded since it is private and closed to the public. The property sits in a beautiful bay surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Just the scenery alone would make you think you should be paying more to stay here. It's truly a great value for the $$. This is a great place for kids since it is a very short walk (less than 30 seconds) between the pool and the beach. Our kids like to switch back and forth frequently and it's easy to do at this place. It's a great place for kids, but at the same time it's also very quiet and peaceful. We have stayed there 4 different times and it's never been noisy or overly crowded. Like I said, we have stayed there several times, but we tried Mike and Julie's condo (unit E-6) for the first time on our most recent visit in June 2011. What makes their condo unique is all the extra amenities they have in the condo. It's decorated very nicely and has tons of games, books, videos, etc. They have a closet full of beach stuff like snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, sand toys, sports equip, etc - stuff that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to buy at the store. Their ocean view from the lanai is also very nice - one of our favorite things was watching the sea turtles from the lanai. In summary, you can't go wrong with Kahana Sunset and I highly recommend unit E-6.

“Tranquil location for a rejuvenating vacation!” Tom and Vicki made us feel very welcome while giving us privacy during our stay. The cozy atmosphere at the Bamboo Valley Inn made us feel like we were coming home after every daily adventure in Maui. The secluded rainforest location provided relief from the heat at the beach while being only minutes from Hana Highway which allowed us plenty of time to explore the island. Everything is included to prepare meals to eat there or to take with you for a beach picnic. We're so happy we chose to book at Bamboo Valley Inn and can't wait to return!

“Home away from home.” Wow, what can I say Gary, your place was such a nice surprise. Actually from the reviews I kinda expected somewhere nice and comfy, yet when I arrived I was still pleasantly surprised. Located at the 30th floor, Garys place is never too hot. We seriously didn't need the air con the whole time we were there and I was glad for it. Seriously, fresh air or conditioned air... I'd take fresh air every time! The kitchen was a definite plus, as we could have brekkers in the room and dinner if we wished. The best thing about the condo was coming back after a long day at the malls/beaches, and just winding down in front of the tv. My kids loved the space, and the sofa bed was actually quite comfy, and huge! Not to mention the massive king size for me and the hubby. Seriously great, especially seeing as we've got a superking at home and it's hard to go from a superking to a queen I tell you! Anyway, thank you so much for providing such a nice place at such an affordable price especially for families like mine who are travelling on a budget! I would stay back here in a heart beat. I just wish you had more days available for me and my family to stay, because it beats staying at a hotel any day!

“Fantastic comfortable base to explore wonderful Maui” I can't say enough good things about this lovely condo! - Linda the owner was so helpful throughout the booking process and our stay and returned our security deposit really quickly! she sent us loads of really useful info. which helped us 1st timers to Maui. To say we loved it is an understatement, the condo is just as described/pictured, its huge!! and is a few minutes across the road from the lovely Kamaole Beach Park. You have everything you need here for a fantastic holiday, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers the lot. The pool at the condo is clean and well maintained and on the days we used it we had it mostly to ourselves, The rooftop terrace and BBQ area is brilliant, but we only used it once as there are more than enough restaurants within walking distance of the KBR to keep you busy for a few weeks, sadly we only had 9 days (loads of shops too) Will definitely return here, its a fantastic base to explore Maui as you are in the middle of the island. We went to a few other resorts on our travels, but definitely made the right decision to stay here. I would recommend to anyone especially families or small groups as its a great size. Thanks again Linda for an amazing stay in Maui.
