“We found paradise at Hale Mauka Makai!!” We love Hale Mauka Makai!! We were searching all over Hawaii for the perfect place, a pool, a view, land, privacy and all the amenities that make a vacation easy and memorable. Claudia was beyond knowledgable, friendly and professional. She couldn't have been better or more helpful in any way. The house is a dream. The location is perfection. Easily accessible to the town, the best beaches on the island and top notch local restaurants just down the street. I miss it all so much! The long driveway is flanked by palm trees and surrounded by organic vegetable, fruit and herb gardens and leads to the private house on a large plot of grassy land. Inside the beautifully decorated and perfectly laid out house you really feel all the stresses of life melt away. The kitchen is perfect. We cooked a lot and Bbq'ed outside on the deck overlong the gorgeous land and ocean. The breeze in the house was divine. The beds were like clouds! We even had an a/C delivered that Claudia handled so kindly and she also arranged for pick up as we never needed it once. Our mainland friends told us we would need one in the middle of august, but on the north shore, the trade winds are always blowing so no worries ever! The weather was blissful. The pool is a dream. Morning and night swimming were daily rituals along with picking guavas from the trees in the yard. There wasn't one thing I would change about our stay here. Everything was taken care of and we cannot wait to go back!! So happy we discovered this gem!

“Perfect location!” This condo was perfectly located in a quiet area and perfect walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants! The unit was better than the pictures, the shower was spotless and newly renovated. Comfy bed, A/C in the unit and everything you need to be comfortable. Would recommend and will definitely be back! “The best place to stay” We stayed in this awesome rainforest cabin for our honeymoon. The owners are gracious and totally accommodating. The grounds are clean & in excellent shape! The cabin is beautiful! The ambiance is more than we expected and we would stay there again anytime and recommend it to anyone! Easy access yet you feel like you're in a jungle!

“Exceptional home away from home!” Just as described, the kihei oasis is an excellent vacation rental. The layout of the home, furnitionings and it's convenient surroundings, I would definitely recommend staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit, but the real bonus was the little amenities that you don't really think of until you need it. I opened the kitchen cabinets and found foil, oil, shoyu sauce and lots of helpful seasonings. The bathroom cabinets also had additional body wash, shampoo, lotion and for kids too. Although we brought our own amenities, I'm glad you have them available especially for large families. Also a garage wall dedicated to fun in the sun activities, boardgames and so much more. Mahalo to the Morts ohana for providing such a lovely home away from home, We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

“A Home away From Home” We stayed in the 2nd floor unit. It's beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the comforts of home. We will come back and stay in this unit as often as we return to Maui. Everything you need for the beach is there, so don't use suitcase space to bring anything other than your swimsuit. The 2 weeks we were there, the trade winds weren't blowing - very unusual according to the locals. It made the unit very hot and humid without the aC. But the aC worked great, except in the bedroom. We only used the bedroom to sleep in, so it didn't ruin the charm and comfort of the unit. The location is perfect. I wouldn't stay anywhere but Kihei. We travelled all over the island, and while there are beautiful places all over Maui, Kihei is the best place to stay. Especially the area where the unit is located. It's on the edge of the beach condo neighborhood, with the resort and high end homes just to the south. The beaches are fantastic. All powder soft sand, including in the water. No need for water shoes as there are no rocks, except for the rocky area between the beaches to the north and south. The Kamaole II beach is large, so we never had any reason to go to either of the bordering beaches. From the condo to the airport clear on the other side of the island is maybe 14 miles-nothing. You do hear your neighbors though. The louvered windows throughout the complex doesn't make for a lot of privacy. You can hear your neighbors below and to the side and next to them. Though everyone is very courteous and respectful of everyone else, so it wasn't really a problem. We didn't have any children anywhere near during our stay, so depending on your attitude, it could end up being pretty noisy, or a joyful experience. Bottom line, we loved our stay on Maui, and our stay in the condo, and would live there full time (Maui & condo) if we could afford the lifestyle. You will not be disappointed, or wonder if another unit is better than this one - they just won't be.

“Best Vacation Ever” This was an amazing vacation from the very start. Even before we left I was able to speak with Ning about the home and the area. She had some great suggestions about different activities and restaurants. The home was fantastic. It was way more room than we needed with 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen and spacious living room. The highlight of the home for us was the wrap-around lanai. I was nice to just sit outside and relax in the bright sun and refreshing trade winds. The amenities in the home were also outstanding. “Amazing Views and Fabulous Comfort” With amazing ocean views from every room and beautiful furnishings throughout you may be tempted to never leave this condo. But the perfect beach with a great snorkeling spot just steps away will lure you out. My husband and two teenage daughters felt we were vacationing in the lap of luxury.

“A peaceful vacation on the eastern side of the Island.” We stayed at this lovely house for nine days and we couldn't choose a better place for our holidays. It has a comfortable bedroom, a nice living room and a well equipted kitchen. We loved the spatious balcony/porch where we always had a breakfast. There were some lovely flowers blossoming just in front at the time of our stay. The house has a nice location - this side of the island is really peaceful but still has interesting places to go and explore (don't miss the volcano NP, black sandy beach just few minutes away, warm springwater pool, local market on wedesdays and so much more). You can explore the other side of the island from here as well. It only takes about two hours to the Kona if you take the Saddle road (brand new). There are some great historic places to visit and beaches to try out but that side of the island is much more crowded and it is nice to retourn to the peaceful and green side in the evening. All in all - we would definitely come again.
