“Most wonderful local vacation rental I've stayed in.” When I first entered the house my feelings were like "Wow, this is so nice.". When Bev started telling us about everything we needed to know about the house and it's contents, I just knew we were in the right place. She has everything you need. All you need is your body and groceries to have a wonderful time. Bev leaves you to enjoy your stay. Oh, the drive up was so nice because one of the things I like most is looking at houses.

“Incredible condo with spectacular views” We stayed for 3 months in this wonderfully appointed and comfortable condo. Janna, the landlord, is fantastic and very responsive and helpful although we did not have any issues to resolve. The location is perfect to be within walking to the beach, Ala Moana oceanfront park, and Waikiki restaurants and shopping plus ala Moana Center with over 190 shops and restaurants. We definitely will return and recommend to our family and friends.

“We came to Hawaii to see our God Child Marry” This had to be one of the most memorable trips we've had in a long time. This wasn't our 1st time to the Big Is. so we didn't need to be pressured to see everything, so we stayed in tune with some local things. The Marina now has a restaurant/bar and we enjoyed fish tacos! We walked a-Bay at night and saw a turtle sleeping in the sand aswell as some night snorklers...brave soles! We had hotel pass for pool use and enjoyed the water slide! We had guests over for dinner often and relaxed with the cool breeze at sunset. Sylvia offers everyting possible to make you feel at home and easy to entertain. Our guests marveled at her interior designs..This condo was comfortable for five adults; we'd return in a heartbeat!

“Stunning Suite and Resort” My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. The suite was stunning and spacious with all the amenities of home. Situated on the private side of the building, we enjoyed the ocean views and sunsets from the beautiful, tranquil, lanai. An added bonus was the beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and cooler - even the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. The grounds were lovely and every morning we walked the beach walk to the Whaler's Village then back to Duke's for happy hour. Jill was so friendly, accommodating and helpful with lots of advice on the resort and nearby restaurants/sights. She was always a phone call or text away. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing vacation and we are hoping to stay in Jill and Terry's suite when we go back this summer. Thanks for making our stay a beautiful and memorable one!

“Everything Fantastic!” Accessibility is the word! “Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“just what we were looking for” Our (family of 3) stay at this condo was great. It had everything we needed and fit our budget. It was very clean, comfortable and close to beaches, shopping and surfboard rentals. The bus is also close and affordable. The neighbours and manager were friendly to us and the owners were easy to reach when we had a question. We'll be back to maui in 2014 and would rent this condo if it's available.

“Week in Paradise!!!” We had the most amazing family vacation at Papakea G-407. The complex is located in a great area, close and convenient to shopping, dining, awesome beaches. It is small enough to feel like its your personal space, but has amenities and class of the big mega resorts. The actual unit was very comfortably furnished, had everything we needed, and extras we were not expecting. Sitting on the Lanai, watching the ocean over breakfast and dinner or enjoying a glass of wine was just the best! Our family really loved the fact that the condo was affordable to the point that we could get out, explore and enjoy all that Maui had to offer. Great Snorkeling, Zip-lining, Luau, shopping, many fantastic restaurants and a sunset vow renewal on the beach. The best part of renting from anne and Wes is the care that they took to make sure we had everything we needed for the best vacation ever. Lots of advice and tips that you cannot get from anyone unless they know the island. They turned us on the the best places to snorkel, places to eat, places to shop, things to do. The personal attention was better than any concierge! My family will definitely be back, there is no reason to test out another resort!

“Best Big Island Experience - Unit 14C” We decided to check out Halii Kai condo on our third trip to the Big Island. The condo complex was so beautifully maintained, peaceful and provides a very residential feel. Unit 14C was beautifully decorated and very well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and came with all high end appliances. Peggy even provided bottled water and a six pack of Heineken in the refrigerator for us. We had plenty of linen, pillow, etc. to make us feel completely at home. We were able to use the beach chairs and body boards during our stay. We brought our own snorkeling equipment. Next time, we might try out the tennis and basketball courts since Peggy provide racquets and balls too. From the lanai, we had a beautiful ocean front view. We watched the whale cavorting in the water all week. There is access to the Trail by the Sea but the closest beach access are those by the Hilton or the Marriott. It was a pleasure to work with Peggy through out the process. We cannot wait to come back for another relaxing vacation at Halii Kai, Unit 14C.

“Exceptional home away from home!” Just as described, the kihei oasis is an excellent vacation rental. The layout of the home, furnitionings and it's convenient surroundings, I would definitely recommend staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit, but the real bonus was the little amenities that you don't really think of until you need it. I opened the kitchen cabinets and found foil, oil, shoyu sauce and lots of helpful seasonings. The bathroom cabinets also had additional body wash, shampoo, lotion and for kids too. Although we brought our own amenities, I'm glad you have them available especially for large families. Also a garage wall dedicated to fun in the sun activities, boardgames and so much more. Mahalo to the Morts ohana for providing such a lovely home away from home, We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

“Great location!” Our stay was very comfortable. The location is great, with many amenities close by. We enjoyed the fireworks at the Hilton on the Friday night while having a drink at the Ilikai's bar. We walked everywhere and found the location was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the main waikiki strip, but close enough to walk there. Would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend to friends and family.

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“The Perfect Condo!” For the past two years we've had extended stays in this condo and another in the same complex that is also owned by Sylvia. She does a wonderful job decorating and stocking her units, and is quick to help if there are any problems once you are there, although we’ve had almost none. The brightly colored walls, the furniture, and all the paintings and artwork provide a warm, “island” atmosphere. The kitchen has plenty of bright Fiesta Ware table settings, pots and pans, and all you need to serve both yourselves and guests. This is an excellent floor plan for guests. The guest room has plenty of space, storage, and an ensuite bathroom. We had other couples with us for almost 4 weeks and never felt crowded or uncomfortable. The floor plan is much nicer than most that you will find in Hawaii. First, the lanai is huge and it wraps around two sides of the condo, with plenty of space to both eat and lounge outside. The kitchen is larger than most condos and can easily accommodate 2 or even 3 people working there. The living area is large, square, and two whole sides are a series of sliding glass doors going out to the lanai, so the views are expansive and there is lots of light. Since the condo is on the second floor, we live with the sliders open almost 24/7. Also unusual, is that the construction of this complex is concrete, so you don’t hear your neighbors. We are so pleased to have “discovered” Vista Waikoloa and Sylvia’s condos and recommend them whole heartedly. Vista Waikoloa is an immaculately maintained property – beautiful, mature trees and flowers, a great pool and spa area, a well-stocked workout room, and nice barbeques where the men seem to gather every night. The location is ideal – easy walking distance to both the Kings’ Shops and the Queens’ Marketplace, with the Hilton and Marriott right across the street and a very short walk to the beach at “A” Bay.

“Great place to stay.” We were very pleased with the location. Enjoyed watching the surfers daily & all our side trips were excellent including seeing lava. The place was very clean with good beds. Lots of extras & really liked the filtered cold water. We had one day with hugh waves so made watching the surfers & body boarders very exciting.

“A Home away From Home” We stayed in the 2nd floor unit. It's beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the comforts of home. We will come back and stay in this unit as often as we return to Maui. Everything you need for the beach is there, so don't use suitcase space to bring anything other than your swimsuit. The 2 weeks we were there, the trade winds weren't blowing - very unusual according to the locals. It made the unit very hot and humid without the aC. But the aC worked great, except in the bedroom. We only used the bedroom to sleep in, so it didn't ruin the charm and comfort of the unit. The location is perfect. I wouldn't stay anywhere but Kihei. We travelled all over the island, and while there are beautiful places all over Maui, Kihei is the best place to stay. Especially the area where the unit is located. It's on the edge of the beach condo neighborhood, with the resort and high end homes just to the south. The beaches are fantastic. All powder soft sand, including in the water. No need for water shoes as there are no rocks, except for the rocky area between the beaches to the north and south. The Kamaole II beach is large, so we never had any reason to go to either of the bordering beaches. From the condo to the airport clear on the other side of the island is maybe 14 miles-nothing. You do hear your neighbors though. The louvered windows throughout the complex doesn't make for a lot of privacy. You can hear your neighbors below and to the side and next to them. Though everyone is very courteous and respectful of everyone else, so it wasn't really a problem. We didn't have any children anywhere near during our stay, so depending on your attitude, it could end up being pretty noisy, or a joyful experience. Bottom line, we loved our stay on Maui, and our stay in the condo, and would live there full time (Maui & condo) if we could afford the lifestyle. You will not be disappointed, or wonder if another unit is better than this one - they just won't be.
