“Exceptional home away from home!” Just as described, the kihei oasis is an excellent vacation rental. The layout of the home, furnitionings and it's convenient surroundings, I would definitely recommend staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit, but the real bonus was the little amenities that you don't really think of until you need it. I opened the kitchen cabinets and found foil, oil, shoyu sauce and lots of helpful seasonings. The bathroom cabinets also had additional body wash, shampoo, lotion and for kids too. Although we brought our own amenities, I'm glad you have them available especially for large families. Also a garage wall dedicated to fun in the sun activities, boardgames and so much more. Mahalo to the Morts ohana for providing such a lovely home away from home, We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

“Outstanding Home, Would Stay Here again” This rental is better than described. The pictures don't do it justice. Our stay was comfortable and fantastic!!! The view was gorgeous! The house is clean, well equipped with all the comforts home. Michele and Ron have thought of everything! The house is walking distance to the beach and an easy drive to other local beaches, dining, local shopping and more.

“Best Vacation Ever” This was an amazing vacation from the very start. Even before we left I was able to speak with Ning about the home and the area. She had some great suggestions about different activities and restaurants. The home was fantastic. It was way more room than we needed with 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen and spacious living room. The highlight of the home for us was the wrap-around lanai. I was nice to just sit outside and relax in the bright sun and refreshing trade winds. The amenities in the home were also outstanding. “Amazing Views and Fabulous Comfort” With amazing ocean views from every room and beautiful furnishings throughout you may be tempted to never leave this condo. But the perfect beach with a great snorkeling spot just steps away will lure you out. My husband and two teenage daughters felt we were vacationing in the lap of luxury.

“Absolute pleasure to stay at.” The owners are very gracious hosts and have provided an awesome studio to stay in. they have thought of everything to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. It is quiet and yet a short walk to a great sand beach. Easy to get to and from, close to everything and yet far enough away to feel like you belong there. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again and again.

“I will be coming back again!!” This is a great house for a family or romantic getaway. It is clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities of home. After a long day of activities it was nice to just sit on the lanai and relax while the children were playing in the game room. It was perfect for our family. I highly recommend this property. “Beautiful accommodation. Laid back feel.” Our accommodations were beautiful, clean and exactly what we were looking for. The location is fantastic and we were only a few minutes from Kailua and Lanikai beaches, as well as a very short walk to downtown Kailua. Sabine and Ray are excellent hosts. Upon our arrival, we had time to settle in and relax; we even found a small fruit plate to welcome us. Later, Sabine stopped by to greet us, answer any questions we may have had, and offered recommendations on restaurants and activities in the area; Sabine even made certain to give us directions to nearby locations. This was our first trip to Hawaii, and we had a great trip. We look forward to staying here again.

“Excellent Value for an authentic Hawaii Experience!” My cousin and I stayed in Hale Kawehi for two nights. Our host could not have been more warm and welcoming. Kawehi made it clear she was available to answer any of our questions or provide advice; otherwise we had total privacy. Juice, milk, bagels, and eggs were left in the refrigerator each morning. The house is very spacious, with lots of rooms to explore. It is filled with antique treasures and unique, one-of-a-kind objects. The outside garden area is enchanting. There are also several outdoor seating areas; all lovely. Mr. Princess is the most friendly and loving cat I've ever met. He was a pleasure to have around outside. I had two issues which I feel the need to share. First, the local coqui frogs are quite noisy at night. I was fine because I had earplugs, but you should be aware of this ahead of time. Second, there was an odor of cat inside, although guests are asked not to let Mr. Princess in the house. Since we mainly slept there, it wasn't an issue. It might be, though, if you plan to spend a lot of time inside the house. All in all, my experience was positive and I'm very glad I stayed here.

“The Real Hawaii - Magical” My husband, two year old daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at this cottage for a few days in February. The cottage is amazing and fully equipped. The outdoor kitchen made us feel like we were on a cooking show on The Food Network. It was stocked right down to pink Himalayan sea salt. The master bed is very comfy - resort quality sheets and linens. There is an outdoor shower which is lovely for rinsing off after the beach and an indoor bath for relaxing. The beach itself was very close - my two year old could walk there - maybe 200 ft or so. The beach has a sandy area, a grassy park and a small sandy entrance way between lava rocks to swim out to excellent snorkeling. While out swimming my husband saw pods of dolphins which frequent this bay. We also heard whales in the early morning hours. Rusty and Janice were excellent hosts and introduced us to some friends and locals, giving us a feel for the real Hawaii. Rusty gave a demonstration of opening up a coconut with a machete which was a big hit with my daughter. All in all a magical place to stay, we were just sorry we hadn't planned a longer visit.

“Memorable!” Our visit to the north shore of Oahu was incredible. We discovered, a nice house for our 7 day stay in Hale Malaekahana. Our first visit to the beautiful north shore was everything we imagined about Hawaii. The renters were very gracious about allowing us to use their home for our vacation. Only a few feet from the beach to swim and we got up early to enjoy the sunrise with a nice cup of coffee and a walk on the beach. If we had known there was a walking path on the highway, we would have brought our running shoes along. The locals were friendly and everyone we met were helpful on places to shop and eat. Our next visit to Oahu, will be only on the northshore and using trip advisor. That's how we found our place in Hale Malaekahana.

“Hanalei Gem!” My family spent five delightful days at this property, renting both Plumeria and Hibiscus. We had such a wonderful time there and could see the house has had a lot of love and good times over the years. It has a really nice vibe! So glad to be able to experience that too. The house came equipped with everything you could imagine...we had all that we needed and then some. The owner and local contact people were very responsive...no complaints. The location was also ideal, just a short walk to the beach and pier. We appreciated being on a quiet residential street in the middle of a tropical jungle! Also we had mostly good weather and were able to do many fun things with our family.

“Secluded and Romantic Island Getaway” For our first trip to Maui, my husband and I decided that we wanted to stay some place away from the hustle and bustle of the beach condos. And boy are we glad that we did!! The cottage was spacious and perfectly sized for us. Although we love the beach we were so happy to be able to drive back to our quiet and private cottage. It was the perfect location to go explore the island -- from the drive to hana, to haleakala, to the western and southern parts of the island we feel like were able to see everything we wanted. And the most delicious fish market is right down the street. If we ever decide to go back to Maui, we will not be looking for another place to stay. Thank you Barbara and Hank!

“This stay was the best!” We visited this lovely home with two couples in Late March - early April and must say we were impressed and very satisfied. A great place with lots of room, in a very good location, with lots of extra's for guests. Our original plan was to eat out more but found the home so comfortable with everything we needed so we simply prepared more meals and enjoyed the home in the evenings. Can not say that we missed any items, and we took advantage of some of the ocean toys as well. We have been to Poipu and Kauai many times before but must say this stay was the best!
