First class accommodation in the heart of a beautiful city

This was the second time that I, my girlfriend and my brother and his partner had the pleasure of staying at Jozsef and Janos's apartment. The first time was last September and we loved the apartment so much we didn't hesitate to stay again when coming back to Budapest. Everything about our stay was made perfect by Janos and Jozsef, from Janos arranging a taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us direct to the apartment, to taking the time on our arrival to provide maps and information about the best places to see, eat and drink in the city. This was essential inside knowledge of the city and invaluable in helping us enjoy this amazing city to the full. The guys even booked us a table at one of the best authentic Hungarian restaurants in the city and recommended the best dish! The apartment itself is right in the heart of the old Jewish quarter on the doorstep of the city's liveliest bars and restaurants. The stunning opera house is two minutes walk away, as is the nearest underground stop which will take you to the main thoroughfares and shopping area in minutes. However, it is barely five minutes walk and no more than ten minutes from Chain Bridge and the riverside. Inside the apartment is beautifully appointed. A blend of contemporary and modern with high ceilings, huge bright rooms and plenty of space to eat and relax. There are two large double bedrooms, one with en suite and the other with a bathroom just off the dinning area. There is also a small balcony which is bathed in evening sunshine, great for enjoying a beer before heading out for the evening. Janos and Jozsef also have a selection of home made jams and chutneys which you can buy and the kitchen is modern and excellent for preparing food if you wish to eat in for a change. There is also a good sized Spar shop a minute's walk from the apartment, where you can buy any food or other essentials that you need including beer and wine! I honestly could go on and on there are so many positives about this apartment and already we are planning our third trip to Budapest and will most definitely be staying here again. … see more

Georgeous appartement, excellent Budapest guiding with the handsome owner who speaks fluent english.

The area is in the centre of Budapest,actually my appartement was very quiet,so after a long day and night hang out I slept so well.Next day I wanted to see the historical Budapest, but I had only my map,so I called up the owner for help,and my luck- He came to heleped me out in a minute.He offered for me very good options.He would guide me all around with his arconditioned car,or He can come with me by walk if I want. So we calculate a grate deal out,and finally I choose both of them. He speaks fluent english and He has wery good sence of humor as well,so I had a great time..The appartement has own gym in the huge room so I worked out in the morning,after I used the jacussi.Actually I loved it.. was so relaxing. Couple blocks away is a good food store,so I bought healty food for myself..for lunch I went out..Lunch places is all around the Oktogon.The owner showed those places too.Hello Baby bar is just couple bloks away at the Oktogon,so I didn't need to use cab to get home.The Margaret Island also takes couple minutes for my early jogging.Excellent.The owner showed that too as well,and jogged with me for once when I prefered.So at last but not least I had a wonderful time in Budapest even if I was by myself. But I was not alone. cozy place to stay while you explore budapest

Our family spent 5 days at this apartment. The location is great. Easy walk to the river. located close to the opera house. 2 minutes from groceries and lots of restaurants within a very short walk. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The owner was GREAT to deal with; super helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the city. only negative might be lack of elevator in the building. We've got a 2 and 3 year old with strollers and all the things that go along with them, and the stairs were only a minor inconvenience. Don't think you'll find a better value in the city. … see more
