“Wonderful” We had a wonderful week at the La Vieille Ferme. We stayed in the Grange and it was perfect. The place is immaculate and Derek and Angela should be congratulated for their attention to detail. If you need the perfect relaxing week in beautiful surroundings then you've found it here! “A little piece of heaven” This is one of the loveliest gites that we have stayed in. The village is very pretty and has the welcome addition of a bar / restaurant . The gardens are beautifully kept and there is a small pool The gite was well equipped and very comfortable . The owners provide BBQ and garden equipment including fresh herbs for the use of guests . The log fire was welcome in the evenings. The hosts were helpful in every way , from advice on the local area to restaurant bookings. The small pool has now been replaced by a large covered pool.

The Grange
Our stay at The Grange was wonderful - beyond expectations.

We stayed at The Grange the last week of April and totally loved the experience. The location allowed us to visit many of the chateaus of the Loire. Both the house and grounds were beautiful, surpassing our expectations because one never knows if a place is going to look as good as the pictures. Also, the caretakers, Peter and Dianne, were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived - even going so far as to have a basket of food and wine awaiting us on that first evening. Their recommendations for restaurants were very good, and Peter even took the men to the nearest supermarket on the first day. We will certainly return if we get the opportunity! … see more
The Farmhouse
Peaceful, beautiful location and lovely accommodation. Wish we lived there!

We stayed in the Farmhouse at this very peaceful location. Great to wake up in the morning and hear the birds but no traffic, unlike at home. Just a short stroll up the road to collect croissants and bread for breakfast. We hired bikes from owners Angela and Derek on a couple of days and explored the countryside and nearby villages on the very quiet roads. What a great place to live! Drove to a couple of chateaux and were surprised how few people were around. Our gite was very well equipped and incredibly clean and tidy on our arrival. We had our own garden and had a couple of BBQs during warm evenings. Made good use of the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. Must go back one day! … see more
The Stable
Luxurious gite, lovely hosts and a beautiful location.

A warm welcome was provide by our hosts, who 'went the extra mile' to make our holiday a success. The Stables is in lovely surroundings. It has everything you need, and there are loungers and a BBQ for you to use too. The laundry facilities are also excellent. The pool and 'lounging area' are fabulous and a real bonus. The local restaurant/shop (a 2 minute walk) is a well worth several visits. Hearty traditional lunches and pizza and pastas at night all at very reasonable prices. Idyllic French retreat

It is with a degree of expectation that you book and arrange a holiday we were not disappointed. Photographs and reviews do not do this setting justice. Angela and Derek are the most hospitable of hosts and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is memorable for the right reasons. There was just the right amount of activity around the gite, the accommodation well appointed and the weather perfect. Do get out and about, explore the countryside, the small towns and villages and eat with the local people. You will have a great time. … see more
