“Excellent villa for a relaxing holiday” The villa was excellent, with the pool area and decking we spent most our holiday at there. It's a large villa and we had 11 people stay comfortably. The villa had excellent views and was very well equipped. The pool was brilliant and gas barbecue made cooking for so many very easy. The sky tv and wifi were both very useful and gave it a real home from home feel. Location- Alcaidesa is very small and only has a very small mini-mart with the essentials and not much choice for restaurants. For this reason I would recommend having a car to go to the larger supermarkets and wider choice of restaurants in Sotogrande (which isn't far away at all by car). However, having said this, we managed shopping and eating out by using taxis and it worked out well. If you want to go out near by, we went to Estepona which wasn't too pricey by taxi (closer than Marbella) and we found a good nightclub there (Plato 68). So really the villa is in an ideal location, away from it all if you want to relax but close enough to get to whatever you need. I would recommend a car but we managed without. Finally I felt very well looked after by Natasha (the owner) and Frank the pool man who met us at the villa and helped with any questions or queries. I would recommend to anyone and I would be happy to go back myself.
