Casitas Las Flores is a small, family owned and managed, bungalow resort nestled in the jungle of the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica where you can relax, recharge your batteries and fully immerse in nature.Our resort is located 1 km from the multi-ethnic and vibrant town of Puerto Viejo. We are only 300 meters from the spectacular beaches of Playa Negra where you can enjoy the virgin coast in its natural state and where the surf breaks every day! Casitas Las Flores offers self-catering bungalows, an extensive garden and free Wi-Fi throughout.All bungalows have a porch with garden views, a private bathroom including free toiletries and each bedroom is equipped with a fan and a mosquito net over the bed. Our bungalows are36 meters squared and are equipped with a full kitchen with stove, fridge and kitchenware as well as a dining area. Guests at Casitas Las Flores will find a grocery only 400 meters away and a variety or restaurants within 1 km.The area offers activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, hiking and rafting. Canopy tours, surfing lessons and dolphin, turtle and bird watching which we are happy to arrange for our guests.

Hello Julia and Dina and thank you for your review. We enjoyed having you both here for 3 nights! Yes, being ''nestled in the jungle'', we do have mosquitoes and monkeys and birds that do make noise but we also love sharing our quieter friends like geckos, sloths and butterflies with our guests as well. The woodsy odor in your bathroom is the result of the high humidity factor and, unfortunately, is out of our control. It is certainly not a reflection of the cleanliness factor, just a fact of being in paradise! Toiletries were provided upon arrival and are always replenished as required and our apologies if you feel you were lacking in anything over the 3 days. Again ladies, thank you for your visit and your review and we look forward to hosting you again in the future!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Vittorio (the owner) a message.

If Vittorio (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
