From the owner

The Chateau de la Chauviniere is situated in the Loire Valley midway between Vendôme (on the Loir) and Tours (on the Loire). It is set in the middle of 200 acres of secluded grounds; formal french and english gardens, rose garden, glass house, overlooking its lake ( fish, ducks ,swans and herons) in a park with centuries old trees, shadowed romantic paths.

Inside luxuriuos decoration, antique furniture. Video, hifi, numerous CD's and DVD's, french and english books. WiFi everywhere in house.

A large swimming pool (14x6 m) is enclosed and protected by old walls with climbing roses and plumbagos. The farm of the property provides eggs from the poultry, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, sheep. Cats, dog, 2 horses.

Croquet, badmington, ping pong, pétanque, pool: 6 holes American billiard, boating on the lake.

Outside nice little towns with churches and frescoes, medieval castles ruins overlooking the Loir. good restaurants, royal castles, vineyards with wine tasting along the Loire
