The House is a nobiliary residence, in the centre of Sant'Anatolia di Narco, a little middle-age village, very close to Spoleto and other Art-cities like Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Orvieto, and just at 140 km from Rome.
The apartment overlooks the large Entrance-hall of the House, and has been made out of the ancient store-rooms, whose characteristic structures have been turned into a new furnishing function, as the stone-basin where wine was produced, now converted in a comfortable and coloured divan.
The apartment is furnished with old pieces and work instruments, but according to modern comfort and hospitality principles. It accomodates four/six persons, and consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting-room and a large living-room with a kitchen-corner. The apartment is equipped with TV, Internet wi-fi, vacuum-cleaner, hoover and washing-machine.
The Valnerina is one of the most beautiful valleys in Umbria, at a little distance from the most important art cities and natural beauties like Marmore's Waterfalls and Sibillini Mountains Natural Park. The area is rich of historical and artistic testimonies, like the precious examples of Longobardic Art, Romanic Architecture, ‘300 and ‘400 Umbrian Pictures and frescoes.
In the Valley it’s possible to play a lot of sports, like rafting and hiking on the waters of Nera River, climbing on the mountains or skiing and cross-country skiing on the Uplands, horse-racing and mountain-biking along the medieval paths still linking the little villages. In the neighbourhood there are public swimming-pools and equipped faces for climbing.
The Valnerina offers many gastronomic appeals too, like Norcia’s black truffles, cheeses and salami, extra-vergine olive oil and wines, like Torgiano’s White or Montefalco’s Sagrantino, produced on the sunny Umbrian hills. Moreover, there are many fine little restaurants and pizzerie too, food and wine are excellent and at good prices.
