Glavini Eco Village has a main house with 5 double bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, designed to provide a quiet and relaxed stay. The property with an additional guest house (if needed) is capable of accommodating up to 12 guests in total, on a private organic cultivated land of over 25,000 m². The friendly service and high standards will best suit those seeking superior quality in an elegant, natural and tranquil setting.

Except for the functionality we have also tried to make Glavini aesthetically pleasing, while we haven’t changed the au­thentic look and feel of the place. In cooperation with nature and its best fruits, the property fits perfectly within the landscape far from the noise, traffic and crowd.

Glavini Estate is an impec­cable choice for the people desirous of a sincere coexistence with nature and tranquillity.

Cook and cleaning service are available at request. We can also provide massage and spa treatments.

Location: It is the perfect location for exploring the delights of Istria, the rest of Croatia, Slovenia (20 km) and Italy (30 km) as well as many tourist spots in the surrounding area.

The property is in sight of the town of Draguc, close to Buzet (12 km), Motovun (12 km) and just 35 km from the sea in any direction (north Trieste, west Porec, Novigrad or south Opatija, Rabac, Rijeka). It sits nestled in a landscape of gentle, rolling hills, rich in Mediterranean flora.

Things to do: Things to do can be unique, refreshing, imaginative, surprising – Glavini Estate and Istria can offer all this and more. Whether you are looking from your holiday action, inspiration, relaxation or want to discover Istrian treasures and people do it your own way and these are just some suggestions.

In autumn we have truffles from nearby woods and it is possible to organise unique ‘truffle hunting’ experiences. In that period we also harvest grapes and olives with organic production of vine and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. In winter from January to March we have unique traditional Istrian Carnival events, with rich entertainment program. The spring is reserved for picking the asparagus and other healthy herbal plants. The summer brings a plenty of choices from visiting the nearby sea resorts south, east and west from us or checking out some of many regional art and cultural festivals.

Estate: Kids are welcome. Guests can swim in our large 8x4 m pool, relax in the sauna or fitness room and enjoying a sweeping view of the landscape. There is also a kid’s playground, table tennis, badminton and bocce (closely related to the game of boules). If you are into cycling, we are in the right spot to access and visit all of Istria.

We have around 300 organically grown olive trees as well as 20 cherries, a dozen fig and many apples, peach, pear and plum trees, all organically produced along with our vegetables which are all at your disposal during your stay, depending on the season.

We believe that we are an integral part of the earth and nature and we use renewable energy as much as we can. The home is fitted with solar collectors with an underfloor heating system, run using renewable energy. Water is collected from the roof, so as not to waste precious resources. We are also connected to a natural spring with drinkable freshwater.
