About the home

The Villa, this place and the entire area has so much to offer, unspoilt beaches, Spanish tapas bars, cafés and restaurants, other Andalucian villages and towns. There are numerous golf courses within 30-40 mins of the Villa, both in Spain and the short trip to the Algarve in southern Portugal, together with boat trips and visits up along the river Guadiana that borders Spain and Portugal.

This is an unspoilt region of Spain, where tradition and culture has no changed, so if you want get away from the tourist filled areas and taste the REAL Spain you have found the right place to go.

For bird watchers and nature lovers the villa is situated close to the Parque Nacional de Doñana, one of Europe's most important wetland reserves and a major site for migrating birds. The Marismas del Odiel, the National Park of Guadiana is just a short trip over the bridge to Portugal plus numerous sites and areas just out the back door of the village and surrounding area.

The Villa has an enclosed and secure patio and court yard area ideal for families with small children.

Foldable/portable Sun Lounge chairs are supplied for use at the property plus at the near by pool.

Tennis Rackets, Golf Club, Frisbeezs, Boules, Kids Surfboards, Footballs and many more sporting and leasure items supplied at the villa.

Bath towels are provided, however beach towels are not provided - please bring your own.

Villa is serviced by a cleaner after each vacation in-order that it is found in a clean and tidy condition. (included in the rent)

Should a mid-stay cleaning service be required during rental period, rates can be agreed prior.

Change over days are flexible but departure time is 10.00 hours and arrival time 15.00, hours this may be more flexible nearer the time.

We offer a range of extras such as Airport Transfers, Cot & High Chair hire, Mid stay Clean, Welcome pack -prices on request.

A 25% deposit is required with the booking form and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure or immediately if the booking is made within 8 weeks of departure.

A breakage deposit of £150.00 is required which is fully refundable on your return.
A booking form will be sent once a booking has been confirmed. A map and directions will be sent to you when the final balance is paid. We have a key holding and managing agent in Spain who looks after the house, any problems they will be there to help.

Conditions

Ideal for people wishing to travel from the UK or Ireland, as Faro is now served by both Shannon and Dublin with regular flights.

The Costa de la Luz region

Villablanca is located in the Costa De La Luz area of Andalusia.

Being only 8 km from the Portuguese border it provides the best of both cultures.The area is famous for its long white sandy beaches, framed by pine trees and sand dunes.

The famed beaches of Isla Canela , Isla Christina, Islantilla and Monte Gordo in Portugal are only 10-15 minutes away, offering a good range of watersports and beach side bars and restaurants.

The Villablanca area

If you pick the right weekend or week you are likely to see and experience the many festivals and events that the Spanish and Portuguese celebrate.

Seville is just over an hour away so you can either do a day trip or stay-over and make a few days in-order to see all together with tasting it's night life.

With the weather being so bad in Northern Europe last summer and so far this year, you can be assured of sun in this region of Spain, with a cool breeze from the Atlantic keeping the mid-summer temperatures comfortable.

Golfers will be spoilt for choice, within 25 mins of the border either way are the superb courses of -

Isla Canela Golf : 18 hole and Islantilla Golf : 27 holes (one of Europe’s premier golf courses)

You can also hire bicycles to explore the local countryside and towns which are mainly sheep and goat farming, strawberry, olives and miles and miles of oranges of course!

The town of Ayamonte where you can get a short ferry ride by foot or take the car/bike to explore the town of Villa Rael de San Antonio in Portugal plus several hamlets and fishing villages along the Costa de Luz coast.

You will need to hire a car, but if your only interested in hanging-out, relaxing at the villa and the village without all that trouble, a pick-up and drop-off plus a taxi service can be organised - a good rate can be arranged if required.

Have noted my property in Villablanca is situated ideally. In the BIRDS magazine Spain "they advertise no properties anywhere near Coto Donana, the most famous wildlife reserve in Europe. We visited it twice from your property in Villablanca (only 70 minutes/ 105 km) as well as the Marismas del Odiel opposite Huelva (30 min/40 km). There are interesting birds around Villablanca also. If you'd like me to post some wildlife feedback on your website I'd be happy to do so."
