From the owner

Arriving at Garden Cottage leads you through a pretty fenced garden with a few steps to the entrance porch. A glazed door opens to a bright and welcoming open plan sitting/dining area and kitchen.

This room is tastefully decorated with laminate wood flooring, ample seating facing an electric coal effect fire and TV. The fitted kitchen comes complete with electric appliances and offers plenty of space along with a circular dining table, ideal for breakfast or evening meals.

Stairs rise from the sitting room with stair gates fitted top and bottom providing ideal safety for dogs or small children. From the first floor landing there are lovely rear views across the fields.

The bathroom has been recently refurbished to a crisp modern white suite with shower over the bath. There is also under floor heating, great for colder mornings. The large bedroom has a double aspect both with countryside views. The room has a dressing table and hanging space plus a 6 foot king size bed. There is also a separate chair that folds out into a single futon bed which can be used for children or teenagers.

The property has electric oil-filled radiators plus the electric fire providing warmth through the property. Instructions are provided.

At the rear of the property is a lovely private walled courtyard with table and chairs a perfect place for alfresco dining, a glass of wine or to just catch the sun while taking in the surroundings. There is also the front garden to enjoy which has a variety of shrubs and flowers. To the left of the row of cottages are the designated two off road parking spaces.

The property is a short distance from the Churchtown of Veryan which has a village store, post office, and a popular village pub providing food. From the property there is a public footpath leading to the pretty harbour of Portloe and the coastal path about 1 mile away. A short drive will bring you to very popular St Mawes with a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and the ferry to Falmouth. There are many other locations to visit making Garden Cottage the perfect place to stay and explore.

We understand that you may allow them to do this at home, but here at Garden Cottage, with so many sandy beaches, muddy fields and other wonderful things for dogs to explore & roll in, we ask that you keep your dog to the floors only allowing humans seats and bedding so that we keep it fresh and clean for all our visitors, not just the four-legged ones!
