Venice, Veneto / Central Venice area
There are so many wonderful places to see in Venice that there is sure to be something for everyone. With countless tourist attractions in this beautiful city, whether you are looking for thrills and excitement, Venetian history and exhibitions, or parks and gardens, you will not have to look far. Venice is home to 411 bridges, 118 small islands, and 150 canals (including the Grand Canal, a good 3800 meters in length) make up the foundation upon which is anchored that miracle of urban planning which is Venice itself.
The kaleidoscopic scenario born of an amazing, intricate and harmonious communication network of water and stone casts light and shadows unique in the world upon a city already singular for its heritage of art, history and culture. The influence of this thousand-year-old civilization has shown the capacity and resource to spread beyond the confines of the lagoon and to expand in such a way as to make an unmistakable imprint on the entire Veneto area.

Guestbook for Ca' Vecchio Pozzo
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely spacious apartment right in the very centre of Venice and had a brilliant time in the City. The views from the windows are just stunning and perfect for watching the world go by. We bought local produce at the Markets at Rialto, which are very close by, enjoyed the gondalas going past and really didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. Carlo the owner is really helpful and directed us to a really great seafood restaurant too, the 40 Thieves. We will be back in the future and would recommend this apartment. Iain and Rebecca U.K.
We stayed at Ca’ Vecchio Pozzo( my mum my sister and I) and had a wonderful time. I wanted to post some comments to your guestbook Carlo to let everyone know how wonderful your apartment was but I can’t see how to do it, do you know how to access the guestbook. Valerie from Ireland
From the time we arrived, over-tired and overwhelmed after 13hours of travelling, we felt at home in this apartment. The apartment was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen contained all appliances and equipment necessary for cooking, though I have to admit not a lot of that happened as there were so many great eating places nearby. The apartment was extremely quiet, and the bed heavenly. We love, love, loved our stay at Ca’ Pozzo Vechio, and we would recommend it to absolutely anyone that we knew! Don't miss out on your opportunity to stay in a lovely apartment and have more amenities than you'd have in a hotel! G.M. Washington DC
We have just come back from 8 days in Venice staying at Ca’ Pozzo Vecchio. The apartment was quite big even for the 5 of us (3 adults, 2 children) its location more than made up for that. It is 1-2 minutes walk from St. Marks square and maybe 3-4 minutes walk to Rialto bridge. The building was secure, nights were blissfully quiet, and nearby were restaurants, bakeries, a greengrocer, supermarket, coffee bars...everything we needed. The owners are tremendous resources: both English-speaking and very knowledgeable about the history of the town, its customs and culture. They've furnished the apartment very comfortably. F.T. London
