The San Bortolo apartment is strategically located at the foot of the Rialto Bridge, in the oldest part of the historic town, at the crossroads of the main art itineraries, behind the statue of Goldoni where Venetians use to meet. The public ferries and private water taxi docks are a few meters far and no bridges in between.

It is a large apartment, bright and airy, recently restored. Receives light and sun at any time of the day because it opens on three sides. It is very functional, thanks to the layout of the rooms and furnishings. The living room and master bedroom overlook the lively Campo San Bartolomeo, full of bars and shops and well lit at night. If you prefer not to participate in its vitality you just have to close the soundproof double-glaze windows for total silence.

The house is composed also of one twin/double bedroom, one single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and two comfortable bathrooms with windows overlooking the picturesque and winding streets and roofs tops of the city. The entrance hall connects the various rooms and bathrooms being positioned centrally in the layout of the apartment.

The recent restoration has brought to light philological frescoes, marble portal with an ancient and characteristic graphite bricks used from the twelfth to the fifteenth century. These elements combine with other more recent ones like the colorful Venetian Terrazzo flooring, different in each room, and with the modernity of the service rooms, equipped with the latest comforts.

Even the furniture is composed of elements from various periods and the comfortable sofas and fresh linen are combined with authentic 19th and 20th century pieces, inspired by industrial and famous contemporary designers. The paintings collected show that Venice can be represented by various international artists. The selection of photographic art books can drive excursions.

Simply step out home to find the solution to every need: bars, restaurants, traditional wine bars hidden in the nearby streets, department stores, pharmacies, banks... and the colorful and wonderful outdoor market in Rialto. A few more steps and you reach a less touristy and still highly authentic Venice, with spectacular lesser known sites.
