About the home

It is not a tourist apartment but a family luxury home that is currently leased.
It does not represent a less expensive alternative to an extra large suite in a luxury hotel but an opportunity to spoil yourself, surrounded by the beauty of art and nature.
From the front terrace you can watch everyday fantastic sunrises and sunsets.

One of the very few apartments available for short rentals in Venice, suitable to host, in luxurious environments and contexts, up to 10 people.
Definitely an excellent solution for a memorable stay in Venice.
Designed by the famous Milanese architect Ignazio Gardella in the late 50s, this building is a rare example of successful acclimatization of modern architecture in the historic heart of the city.

These 2 luxury apartments can be rented together to sleep up to 10 people.
All beds are equipped with new mattresses, very comfortable. The sofa bed is quite similar to a bed because it has a thick spring mattress.
Wine cellar at the floor, cooled to the proper serving temperature, with a wide selection of excellent white wines, red and sparkling Italian (over 100 labels) from over 10 regions, at very affordable prices not available elsewhere.

30 meters from ACTV stop Lines 61 and 62 for Piazzale Roma (13 minutes), Railway Station (15 minutes), Biennale (6 minutes), Lido (10 minutes),
5 minutes walk from Salute (3 minutes from San Marco stop), Accademia and Zattere stops: lines 1, 2, N (also for Tronchetto (10 minutes) and Giudecca (3 minutes).
For the apartments guests, at discounted prices, are available some seats at La Fenice Theater in Venice for all the operas and concerts in the program. Opportunity to purchase tickets for performances at discounted prices.

Cooking classes and wine tastings, in English and French, can be arranged specifically for the apartment guests with renowned experts.

There are four different alternatives for the rent.
The first is the flat whole (8-10 people), the second only the area "Water Front" (2-4 persons), the third solution, the area Terraces (4-6 people)
It is also possible to rent the area "Terraces" with one bedroom plus, with two single beds (6-8 people).

Conditions

MINIMUM 3 NIGHTS.
A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable breakages deposit of Euro 1000 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
40% of rental fee to secure booking.
There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.
Check in after 8 PM only with prior arrangements.

This Venice Luxury Apartment has very easy connection with Marco Polo Airport: Alilaguna Lines.It drives you in 1h.15 to the apartment. stop at Zattere Incurabili Pier at Dorsoduro :few steps from home! or private taxi-boat (price is about 90euro)directly to Spirito Santo Church at Zattere Incurabili-Dorsoduro(1/2h.trip)

From the Venice Marco Polo airport: You can get a water taxi (it takes 30 minutes) to the new ACTV water bus stop Spirito Santo, which is 40 meters from the apartment. You could also get the Alilaguna Line blue to the Zattere stop (it takes one and half hour).
I will come to meet You at the stop. If You arrive with the train You could get ACTV (public transports) line 2 from the Santa Lucia railway station stop - direction Lido - and get off at the Accademia stop (15 minutes). I will wait for You there.
If You are arriving in Venice by car, You could park at the Tronchetto island and then get ACTV line n. 2, direction Lido, to the Zattere stop (15 minutes).

“Perfect” After many wonderful trips to Venice we found th ultimate best place. My wife and I rented the frot half of the apartment for ourselves for a week. then we were joined bY five adult member of our family and rented the entire apartment. the front half was a wonderful hideaway for two, the back half provided luxurios privacy for the others. We joined together in the main living and dining rooms to spend precious time together. The location was perfect Mostly I would like to talk about Giorgio. He was a host not a landlord and made sure we had everything we needed.. He referred us to a friend who gives cooking lessons which turned out to be the best activity of all of our trips. It was educatio. It was fun and it just made us feel a part of the culture

“Wonderful Christmas” We have just returned from spending a very special Christmas in Venice. There were 10 adults and 1 child in our extended family who spent a week over Christmas at Casa alle Zattere. Renting both apartments enabled us to live and cook as a family as most Italians do, Christmas lunch for 11 was very easy in the well equipped kitchens with plenty of pans, dishes etc. The dining table with an extension sat us all, and much fun was had with games etc. The apartment was spacious and enabled privacy and quiet time if needed. Beds, linen and towels were all very good quality. My husband is a total wheelchair user and found the lift access and space around the apartment very good, the shower room on the ground floor was very good although the door into the shower room was narrow, but with a little assistance very manageable for a week. The character and traditional decoration of the apartment added to the ambience and we felt as though it was a home not a rental apartment, which made it especially nice over Christmas. The apartment has plenty of character and interesting surprises and one which we would certainly recommend and revisit. Many thanks to Giorgio for his help and support with any query we had, an absolute pleasure to meet him.

“Wonderful views, fantastic accomodation” Our family of 10 had a superb holiday in the combined apartments - 4 children, 4 parents and 2 grandparents, aged 8-80. The master bedroom was magnificent, as was the Waterfront sitting room, with windows looking over the water. The sitting room accomodated all 10 of us for dinner. We loved the feeling that the apartment had been lovingly furnished as a home for its owners, with plentiful art books and paintings on all the walls. The apartment is really well located, with vaporetto stops and a good supermarket closeby. Dorsoduo has plenty of restaurants, bars and interesting shops, and the Peggy Guggenheim Museum is closeby. Georgio was a wonderful host - meeting us as our watertaxi arrived and spending a long time showing us around the apartment so that we felt very at home. And we were delighted to be given a welcoming bottle of Prosecco to toast the beginning of what was to be a fantastic week's holiday in a perfect location.
