About the home

The flat is elegant style and it is the ideal place for a couple of adults. It is located in the ancient part of Venice, in a quiet area but also strategic place to join the most interesting jewels of Venice; it is also 10 minutes walking far from Casino (amusement place).

We will be very pleased to give you some advices about places to visit, where to go for a nice fresh fish meal or where you could try the local aperitif called 'spritz' and many other little things that only who leaves in Venice may whisper...

The North East Italy / Veneto region

Veneto is a very green region and there is everything you may be fond of mountains 'Dolomiti', the sea, the countryside, very important cities such as Venice, Padova, Treviso, Vicenza, Verona...

The climate is chilly during winter time and hot in summer.

The Venice, Veneto / Cannaregio area

In Venice you will find plenty of fascinating events of big interest during September Cinema Exhibition in Lido's island (15 minutes far from Venice by water bus), Biennale, Regata Storica, Venice Carnival in winter... and many other things that according to your taste we can suggest to visit during the period you will be visitors.

The apartment is located 10' minutes walking far from the railway station S.Lucia (if you arrive by train) and same time from Piazzale Roma if you arrive by car or bus. In stead of walking you can take water bus from S.Lucia or Piazzale Roma any time and by water bus you join the flat in 15 minutes.

If you arrive by plane, there is a water bus sailing from the airport which takes you straight to Venice in 40 minutes. Cost of water bus is 6 Euro each unless you decide to take a daily ticket which is more convenient if you expect to visit Venice by water bus too.

“You own piece of real Venice” My friend and I enjoyed a stay at this wonderfully-located apartment last year so apologies for the late review. The location couldn't be better - quiet, but close to great restaurants, interesting churches and a twenty minute stroll to the Rialto area. It's also helpfully close to the Madonna Dell'Orto vaporetto and Alilaguna stop. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed preparing cicheti for friends who were staying at a nearby hotel. There's a large supermarket on the Strada Nova but also a tiny local one only a couple of bridges away as well as a little bakery and wine shop. Daniela was very helpful and always contactable. I hope to return soon and recommend it for Venice-lovers who want to saty away from the crowds. There's nothing to make you feel more like a local than taking your (many) empty wine bottles to the recycling bank at Sant' Alvise. Grazie Daniela. “Lovely Getaway!” A beautiful apartment away from the busiest part of Venice, yet very close to shops, supermarket, open market, restaurants and bars. It is very close to two vaporetto stops which take you straight to 'Piazza San Marco'. We also really enjoyed the walk to 'Piazza San Marco' and stopping along the way to see the small shops. Inside the app. is very warm and comfortable for the cold days and it has two air-conditions for the hot days. The kitchen and bath room are equipped with everything and very clean. It is a home away from home. Daniela met us at the vaporetto stop, which until you get oriented with the beautiful city is a plus. She is very sweet, polite and gave us a lot of useful information. She also deals with a problem diligently and efficiently. It is a pleasure to meet her as she made our holiday more special. Thank you Daniela, we will recommend your apartment to our family and friends. We hope to see you again soon! “A pearl in the most authentic part of Venice” A design apartement decorated with taste, extremely quiet and comfortable, for us the most authentic area of Venice (where Venitian are still the majority !), finally an incredibly dedicated hostess, who not only welcomed us warmly but also helped us in all details, from the supermarket to the best restaurant we have ever tried in Venice... (and this is our 6th full-week trip there !): this is the majic formula of the week we just spent in Venice.
