Chalet Etoile is just a little over an hours drive from Geneva airport in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area which offers the largest international ski area in the world with over 650km of marked runs catering for all levels of skiing. It is just a 10 minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in the village centre but benefits from the kind of fantastic views and tranquil setting the French Alps are famous for. This rental accommodation has an outside Hot Tub and all mod cons, and is ideally situated for activity holidays such as skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, walking, hiking, swimming, watersports, fishing, golfing, and horse-riding. The Morzine area of the Alps has excellent facilities of all kinds.

Saint-Jean d'Aulps ski resort is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, with 650kms of slopes the Portes du Soleil is a group of 14 French and Swiss ski resorts, and is the biggest international ski area in the world. It covers 400 hectares, 206 ski lifts, and 288 slopes (41 green runs, 109 blue runs, 110 red runs, 28 black runs, and 4 snowcross). It also has hundreds of kilometres of freeride areas.
St Jean d'Aulps area
The Chalet is ideally placed for skiing, snowboarding and all Alpine winter sports in addition to summer activity holidays such as mountain biking, walking, hiking, swimming, watersports, fishing, golfing, and horse-riding. The Morzine area of the Alps has excellent facilities of all kinds.
St Jean D`Aulps is a village and a family ski resort at the heart of la Vallée d'Aulps on edge of Morzine. The ski bus that accesses local ski area (2km away) stops a 2 minute walk from the Chalet.
The ski lifts of Morzine are just 10 minutes away giving access to 650km of skiing at Avoriaz, Chatel and Switzerland on one side and Les Gets on the other.
St Jean D'Aulps is set in protected environment with fantastic views of the Dents du Midi in Switzerland, Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc & majestic Roc d'Enfer. French Alps at their best.

Further details indoors: The chalet was completed October 2006 and everything is brand new including all furnishings and hot tub.
It is located in a very peaceful setting just above the village of St Jean D'Aulps on the edge of the small town of Morzine. There is just a short walk into the village with its small shops, bars and restaurants, however it is elevated sufficiently to benefit from fabulous valley views.
The chalet is offered on a self catering basis for up to 10 people, it has five double bedrooms (2 with double beds, 1 with twin beds, 1 with 2 sets of bunks, 1 with 1 set of bunks), a large fully equipped fitted kitchen, lounge/dining area, large outdoor covered terrace area, 2 x bathrooms, 1 extra toilet, a storage area, and a car port.
All furnishings and equipment is brand new and includes all mod cons such as large TV, DVD player, Sky TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, underfloor heating, wireless internet access etc etc.
There is an outside hot tub, brand new high specification 'Beachcomber 350', designed for 8-9 people.
Towels, bedding and large hot tub towels are included.

We have had a wonderful week and can highly recommend the chalet to everyone. The location is fantastic with easy access to the whole of porte du soleil ski area and we were also very impressed with local ski area as well bearing in mind our group ranged from novice to advanced skiiers! The hot tub is a delight after a heavy day's skiing and the chalet was more than big enough for our party of 8 and a half!!! Thank you very much and can't wait to return next year!
