A semi-detached, attractive, white washed cottage with character features set in an idyllic setting. The downstairs bathroom has a power shower positioned over the bath, and the property has full electric central heating plus a well equipped kitchen/diner area. The fridge includes an icebox section, and there is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with a washer/dryer.
There is a 32ins flatscreen TV ( with freeview ), and DVD player in the lounge , along with a very good range of books and DVDs, and games. There is ample seating for 6/7 people including a bed settee for other potential visitors ( there may be an extra charge per person ). There are a good selection of duvets, linen is provided which includes all bedding but not towels.
There is a small courtyard area at the rear of the property, over which the adjoining property has right of way.

An attractive 1840's semi-detached cottage white washed cottage in a private Road, with just 7 other properties. Garage in Lane, additional parking for 1 car ( subject to availability ) or free parking on nearby common. Small seated patio area at front, perfect for enjoying a drink outside and watching the world go by...access via front door or side access to back door. The Lane leads directly to the common or the shops.....
Downstairs bathroom, please ensure dogs are restricted to the ground floor and care is taken of furnishings. Usual arrival time is 2pm, Saturday changeover, although short breaks may have different times/arrival days. Usual departure time is10am.
The East Anglia region
Southwold is situated on The East Suffolk Heritage Coast, and is part of East Anglia. Both have preserved much of their unspoilt character, rural landscape and traditions.
The terrain in the region is quite flat, and renowned for the quality of light, hence being a popular area for artists.
The area is also among the driest in the UK.
The coastal town of Southwold lies in an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty. The town is famous for it's 'old world charm and style', it's beach,busy harbour, cliff top cannons, Lighthouse,award winning Pier, Parish Church (considered to be one of the finest of it's kind ) and is the home of Adnams Brewery.
There is a renowned Summer Theatre, The Electric Picture Palace Cinema, a busy harbour 'Coastal Voyager' boat trips and The RSPB Bird Santuary at Minsmere. The fish and chip shop-2 mins walk, the beach with it's famous beach huts, fine dining ( with the renowned hotels 'The Swan ' and 'The Crown '), tea shops, boutique style shops, Electric Cinema, lots of pubs ( Southwold is the home of Adnams ) are all just a 10 minutes walk!
The award winning Southwold Pier is just 15 mins away. So, you could leave the car in the garage or drive out to visit the cultural Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Thorpeness, Orford with Walberswick ( 30 mins walk or there is a ferry ) just short drives away...
Further to the South is the famous market town of Saxmundham, Aldeburgh ( home to the Aldeburgh Music Festival ), along with a range of concerts held at The Snape Maltings Complex. Golf, sailing, fishing nearby, with popular coastal walks to Walberswick, Westleton and Dunwich. Southwold hosts the 'Latitude Festival ' and is a popular destination all year round.
