From the owner

Attractive 2 bedroom townhouse for rent in Sitio de Calahonda, Costa del Sol. Sea views from balcony, lovely gardens and pool area. Great location, short walk (less than 10 mins) to beach, shops and restaurants.

Downstairs there is a lounge with large sofa, fireplace, table, TV with DVD player and stereo. We have fast 100Mb fibre broadband with Wifi, around 200 TV channels (50 in English including BBC, ITV etc.). There is a dining area with seating for 4 people and a separate kitchen with oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge freezer and washing machine. All appliances new in 2016/17. The house has been completely redecorated in 2016/17.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, two built-in wardrobes and sliding glass doors leading to a private south facing balcony. The balcony looks out to the gardens and pool area and has sea views. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are three windows which look on the street. The bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet, bidet and sink.

There is a good selection of local restaurants within 5 minutes walk including Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Swiss, Irish and English.

There are also 2 good local supermarkets.

We like to walk along the sea front, either east towards La Cala de Mijas, or west towards Cabopino marina. If you like shopping then the nearby resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola have a lot to offer. Malaga is also well worth a visit to the waterfront and the Picasso museum.

If you like golf there are at least 53 golf courses that I know of on the Costa del sol. The nearest water park (Aqualand) is at Fuengirola which is 10 minutes by car or bus.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jim (the owner) a message.

If Jim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
