The Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge was created in 1985 with the comunity to protect the nesting area for several species of turtles, manatees, crocodiles, caimans, tarpons and dolphins on the ocean and monkeys, sloths, reptiles and big diversity of other species on the rainforest.

The nesting season for turtles is from march to may.

Puerto Viejo

The beautifull beaches of Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica are well known for snorkelling, surfing, boat tours, dolphins, horse riding, jungle tours, and its indredible variety of wildlife.

A place that visitors with children enjoy a lot is the Rescue Center where you can take a close look to the animals of the forest.

"Unique magic faraway tree, loved it!"

You need some energy to climb up this tree being as it is nearly 30 metres from the ground but it is so worth it once you are up there! To be at the same level as tree tops, watching monkeys, toucans … More

It was a pleasure to have a couple like you that is well traveled and down to earth. This accommodation is for nature lovers and adventurous spirits just like you who are interested to get close to the nature and have an unique experience.
