The West Country / Cornwall region
Portscatho is situated in the South West corner of Gerrans Bay, which is a sheltered cove and surrounded by land which is overseen by Heritage Coast and The National Trust. There are many stunning, sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs and lovely country side and villages in land.
Portscatho area
Portscatho is a traditional fishing village and local shops include a butchers, grocers, galleries and a gift shop. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project are half and hour's drive away and there are many other National Trust Gardens & Houses in the garden to visit. Nearby Falmouth has many shops and restaurants with local products and the cathedral city of Truro is accessibly either by road of via The King Harry Ferry.
The many watersports include sailing and windsurfing and surfing is available on the North Cornish Coast which is only a short distance away. There are many beaches with safe swimming and rock pools and it is spectacular walking country along the coastal paths.

Further details indoors: 26A The Lugger is a comfortable and well equipped cottage furnished by the owners as a home from home. On the gound floor is a sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen, downstairs cloakroom with WC & basin, and french windows lead off the sitting room into the garden. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, both with wonderful sea views, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower and WC.
Further details outdoors: Through the sitting room french windows is access to a private secluded garden with a stone patio and lawn with seating, tables and a BBQ.
