About the home

House has itself private cultivated garden with fireplace, open shower, grass for children to play and big terrace covered with natural shade. House is carefully designed in combination of modern and traditional manner with completely new equipment. Once you are there you do not need a car any more. See is just few steps from a house door, you can jump whenever it crosses your mind. Very appropriate for a night swimming.

Viganj is picturesque historical village situated in the most beautiful bay of the south side of Peljesac peninsula. It has a long tradition of maritime captains who lived there in a past so there you can find beautiful stone houses and old churches.

In modern time it is well-known as the best place for windsurfing and kite surfing in this part of Europe. There you can rent all the equipment and take a lessons in windsurfing as well as in underwater diving. There is a long see promenade all the way from Viganj to Orebic where you can walk, ride a bicycle or roll. Boat to medieval town of Korcula goes several times a day. It is only 15 min away.

There are possibilities for many trips: to National park on island of Mljet1 hour away, well-known destinations of jetset Hvar and famous town of Dubrovnik 1hour and 30min by car. Peljesac is also famous for its wine tours and domestic restaurants. Here the old and the young can enjoy and find a lot of fun.

If you come by plane the best way is to use Dubrovnik airport (120 km away), where you can rent a car and come to Viganj. Or you can catch a bus in Dubrovnik and we will wait for you in Orebic (6 km away), so you will not need a car. It is possible to rent a car in Orebic too.
If you come by car you can use the best Croatian highways (A1) until Ploce. From Ploce you can continue by the see to Ston and then Orebic and Viganj. It is 1hour and 40 min drive. Or you can catch a ferry Ploce-Trpanj (on Peljesac peninsula) and then you have just 30 min drive to our house.
If you come from Split you have a cathamaran fast and cheep line to Korcula with is accros the way from Viganj (15 min by local boat.
