“Waterside Magic in Korcula” We loved this Apartment situated right on the water in Korcula with magnificent views of the town and coastal hills. The Apartment was very and clean with all the amenities you would expect including a lovely outdoor area, where you could enjoy a meal and wine overlooking the water. Only a short walk into town, along the waterfront. Marina was a fantastic host, picking us up from the Ferry and introducing us to her beautiful town. We cannot ever forget the fresh fish she brought us one day, the home made jam and limoncello which was a treat on our arrival and the help with some laundry we needed to do. For two travellers in our 50's we would recommend this gem in Croatia. I'm sure we will visit again sometime.

Fantastic Little Apartment

We loved this apartment. The inside is quite small but has everything you need plus great air conditioning and a large comfortable bed. But the terraces are what this place is really about. The back one overlooks a medieval church and gets sun from about 3.30pm. The front one is large and has fantastic views of the bay and the old town. Perfect!

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks here and were so glad we picked this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and the owners answered all our queries promptly. The best thing was the wonderful terrace overlooking the harbour with plenty of room for outdoor dining. The village itself is idyllic and the house is just steps away from the little beach and harbour. There’s a small shop for groceries, 2 lovely restaurants and a bar for coffee, drinks and ice cream. Blato and Vela Luka are close by for more shops and restaurants if you need them. There are 2 strips of beach but my kids preferred just jumping in the harbour. There are tourists here but the overwhelming feeling is of an authentic Croatian village where all the families know each other, kids play football on the street and fisherman prepare fish right at the waters edge, we loved it! We travelled all over beautiful Korcula and enjoyed it all but we didn’t find anywhere as magical as Prigradica! … see more

Fabulous views

We stayed in Lisa's house for a week in October and while the house itself was perfectly clean and spacious, what made it for us were the absolutely fabulous views from the roof terrace. The location is superb with restaurants and bars just minutes away and close to the ferry port. There was milk and a few other basics provided and the kitchen is well kitted out. Villa Kora - Luxury Holiday Home on Korcula Island - Apartment Sea
Elegant, accessible, modern living

Modern, immaculate house. Lovely welcome from the owner Open plan dining/kitchen/living area & wide doors & large shower made it not only elegant but also pretty good for a wheel chair user (a ramp for the two steps into the house would have made it even more accessible, + there is a small ridge to get over to access the lovely terrace) Well-equipped kitchen made cooking a joy (though often tempted away by good restaurants short walk/roll away) Although not in the centre of Lumbarda this part of Lumbarda has its own lovely bay (and on shore restaurant as well as the lovely Zure restaurant/winery) and it is an easy walk/roll/push into the main harbour. (The route in to central Lumbarda includes a section without pavements so a reflective band or bike lights would have been useful for returning with wheelchair at night). There is also a bus stop a few meters from the front door with the Lumbarda-Korcula bus and on site parking (garage) if using a car A very enjoyable stay - this place was excellent for our needs and has a real feel of luxury about it. … see more

Secluded and peaceful

We spent a peaceful week in the lovely villa. The villa was well maintained and had everything one needed to make the stay enjoyable. The sea was a short walk down the steps and other beaches a short drive. We enjoyed exploring Korcula island and visiting neighbouring islands. As our time came to an end we seriously considered asking to extend our stay, but unfortunately circumstances meant that this was not a viable option.
