This unique villa offers very spacious living accommodation for 16 people. The house was built with the design of The Al Hambra Palace in mind.

The bedrooms are all situated around the swimming pool which is set within an atrium. Perfect for sunbathing and yet shade available when necessary. All bedrooms are large and can easily fit extra cots/beds if necessary. Major building work is taking place at present which is due to be completed at the end of May 2008 so keep an eye out for additional photographs then.

There will be seven new bathrooms, a new terrace with huge pergola, newly surfaced tennis court and a refurbished kitchen to include two brand new ovens, large american style fridge and two new microwaves. The reception room is really impressive with heaps of room to relax or entertain. The room would be perfect for a large function.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The villa is situated equidistant to Nerja town with its lovely beaches and vibrant nightlife and Frgiliana village set in the foothills to the coast. The costa del sol enjoys a good all year round temperature with lots of sunshine making it a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.

Nerja / Frigiliana Road area

The caves of Nerja are must see attraction and easily accessible - open all year round.
Waterparks in Almunecar & Velez Malaga are only a short drive away - perfect day out wih the kids (May to September), Granada, Almeria, Malaga and Cordoba are all within easy reach of La Roca Rara.
Frigiliana and Nerja hold many festivals throughout the year.

How to get there

Nearest airport is Malaga, recommended airlines for scheduled flights are: British Airways, Monarch Airlines and Easyjet.

The Villa is around a 50 minute drive from the airport.
Buses take you from airport into Nerja.
Car Hire companies are at the airport or car hire can be arranged by ourselves on request.

Please note that two of the bedrooms are interlinked, however the rest are all individual with access via the pool area, we can provide stairgates for the bedrooms for child safety.

25% deposit is required within two weeks of booking to secure reservation. Balance is due eight weeks before booking.

' Beautiful villa with lovely bedrooms with a bonus of all being en suite! La Roca Rara made the perfect holiday destination for 12 of us after a wedding in Nerja. The villa is nestled on a hilltop 5 minutes drive from both Nerja and Frigliana centre, a car is needed but taxis easily available at the hotel which is moments away. The living area is truly palatial with amazing wrap around views and the swimming pool is delightful -perfect for that essential dip! Most of the rooms have pebbled courtyards, ideal for a quiet peaceful moment away reading or just enjoying the silence. We went in July but with its grand dining table and fireplaces in all rooms you could easily see yourself here in the cooler months too. A true delight!' C Pollard, Dublin
