If you are looking for something special, Villa Miramar is a large, luxury, detached villa, set in a third of an acre, and only 5 minutes stroll to Burriana Beach, and 15 minutes walk to Nerja town centre. The house has been recently refurbushed to very high standard and has a fabulous large swimming pool.
The villa has 2 lounges and 2 kitchens and is ideal for families holidaying together but requiring plenty of space and a degree of privacy. The house is set in large mature, colourful gardens with olive, citrus and palm trees and enjoys sea views. The large entrance hall opens into a splendid lounge, with elegant marble floor and seating for eight on cream leather sofas. Sat.TV, DVD, & Hi-Fi with ipod dock. French doors open onto the upper sun terrace. There is a new spacious luxury kitchen/diner with a range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. and granite w/tops. There is also a formal dining room which seats eight in style. On this floor there are two tastefully decorated bedrooms with large walk in wardrobes. The master double bedroom has a new en-suite bathroom, and the twin bedded room is adjoining the new master bathroom . A marble staircase, with elegant iron work, leads down to the second refurbished kitchen, fully equipped with hob, microwave/grill, washing machine, and dining area.
There are two large bedrooms, one double, one twin, both with fitted wardrobes, and a second sitting room with Sat. TV & HiFi leading onto the large elevated patio through French doors. There is also a large third bathroom with over bath shower, wc, basin and bidet. All bedrooms have air con for nighttime use. We also have pay as you go wifi. This villa was formerly owned by one of the wealtihiest families in the area and has been tastefully renovated and furnished throughout, retaining many period features. It is certainly one of the most stylish in Burriana Beach.

Outside, the lower patio has a barbecue and luxury furniture to provide dining for eight. Sunbeds for eight, around the large swimming pool. Lawned, walled gardens with interesting shrubs and mature trees give shady areas to either relax in out of the sun or ample space to take in full advantage of the Mediterranean heat. Ample secure off-road parking on three-car drive.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol has one of the best climates in Europe, and is within easy reach of the UK from all major airports. It is known for its beautiful beaches, with nightlife, bars and restaurants for all tastes.
The famous cities of Malaga, Granada and Seville, are within easy reach offering a wide cultural variety of historical and modern interest. Sightseeing in the spectacular mountains and national parks takes you into a different Spain of whitewashed villages and traditional way of life just a few miles from the cosmopolitan coastal region.
The Nerja / Burriana Beach area
Nerja is a lovely, unspoilt seaside town just 45 minutes East of Malaga which still retains its Spanish charm and has not been ruined by the high-rise and new build of the Western Costa del Sol. Nerja town has a myriad of streets with stylish shops, bars and restaurants to tempt every taste and pocket. A safe, genteel air prevails with a walk along the famous Balcon de Europa with its cultured street entertainment, artists, human statues, horse drawn carriages, and vivid floral displays.
The main square has a traditional church with colourful weddings and services. Just a short drive inland is the pretty white village of Frigiliana with breathtaking mountain views. The famous Caves of Nerja, rated among the best in Europe, are well worth a visit. During winter there are ski slopes just an hour and a half away in the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountains.

Fly to Malaga.There are many airlines offering regular reasonably priced flights, including B.M.I. Baby, Monarch, Jet2.com , Easy Jet and Flyglobespan. Granada is also an upcoming airport, worth checking.
Car hire is very reasonable, try Doyouspain.com for a good rate.
There are regular buses from Malaga town centre to Nerja and taxis are plentiful at around £55.

This is our 2nd time staying at Villa Miramar in as many years and it exceeded the previous stay with the owners improving it even further! The facilities are second to none but the location makes it even more appealing. You really don't need a car getting about the local area, beach 5 mins walk with numerous bars, restaurants and shops, the town of Nerja is a 15 minute walk with even more facilities. We're already planning coming back next year!

This villa was perfect for staying with friends. We also had children and grandchildren visiting us. There are plenty of space for many people and two nice outdoor areas for taking a drink or eat.... more
