The Lake District
Morecambe Bay forms part of the north west coastline of England and lies across the counties of Lancashire and Cumbria, and is on the edge of the Lake District.
The historical city of Lancaster can be reached by car or just 6 minutes by train and has many interesting places to see. Lancaster Castle is a must.
Heysham is a small attractive village and can be reached by car, bus, cycle or by foot - passing by the fabulous Midland Hotel to take in the art deco nostalgia. If you are working at Heysham Power Station - then Princes Apartment is an ideal base (enquire for longer lets)
For Nature lovers and bird watchers a visit to Leighton Moss, Sandside, Arnside, Silverdale, all within easy reach by car and on route you would pass the fabulous deer park at Dallam Park, a beautiful scene for all.
For the more energetic visit Warton Crag, Farlton Knott, The Lake District and start your climb.
Shopping - visit, Lancaster, Kendal, Windermere, Preston, by car or train.
Bare village is an upmarket suburb of Morecambe. With its bustling 'quainte' shops and two public houses within walking distance, you will not be disappointed with this location. Walking distance to Happy Mount Park and Morecambe Golf Club.

"Super Flat in Great Location"
Had a wonderful stay at this flat. The facilities and decor are first class. The little balcony at the back is a nice feature too. The location is very good, being not too far from the town centre and near a great park. A very good spot if you have small children.

"Well set up appartment with all mod cons, close to the promenade"
We stayed at this property at the height of the heat wave. Whilst the upstairs bedroom (probably unusually) was quite hot, the rest of the flat was very pleasant. Whilst the balcony area did not have a wonderful view, it was not overlooked and was a pleasant place to sit on a warm evening. We rented the flat as a couple with my husbands elderly mother. Once up the initial stairs, everything was on one level for her. We loved the idea of the through lounge, cooking area and dining room/balcony. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.The flat is actually in Bare away from the centre of Morecambe, and there is a pleasant row of local shops nearby which we frequented for the butcher, baker and newsagent. Parking at the front was useful for unloading and the allocated parking for overnight was not too difficult to access. We will definately return, sadly I don't think the weather will ever be as good on a future visit as on this occasion, however I look forward to the flat being just as good.

"Home from Home"
As I am very selective to where I stay I am glad to report that once again I haven't been wrong. This apartment is just what I would expect from my own home. The apartment is spotless and plenty of cooking utensils should you decide to cook for yourself. Also this apartment is VERY quiet considering all the businesses that are on the same street. The location is fantastic, promenade at the bottom of the road, Happy Mount Park five minutes walk away, one pub across the road and another round the corner. Also a BIG bonus is private parking at the back of the apartment! The owner and her staff are great, I had to change my plans suddenly but nothing was too much trouble for her which in turn made my life easier. We will definitely be returning to this property when next we are in the UK. If you want all the comforts of home - this is the place for you!!!

"Excellent clean homely accommodation for a family. Home away from home"
We stayed here as a work/vacation trip. My family of 3 young boys and my wife were very happy with the accommodation. It was very clean and close to playing area for the kids and it was quiet as well. The owners were very helpful and made our stay very easy. They even helped me scanning and send documents that I had to send urgently abroad. Thank you for offering this apartment. Do not hesitate to book this. It is excellent and we will definitely use it again if we are in the area.

"Luxury apartment in a good location."
My husband and I stayed hear in July 2012 with our 4 children aged between 9 and 19. The accommodation was of very high standard and very clean and in a good location. The owners were very friendly and on hand if needed. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and would reccommend to friends and family as a first class apartment.

"Lovely apartment in a lovely location"
My family stayed at Princes as a two night stopover after holidaying in Scotland. We were really pleased with the bright and modern apartment. Princes is well thought out, with lovely homely touches and lots of amenities. The apartment is in a perfect location, with cash point, post office, butchers, cafe, restaurant and corner shop right on the doorstep. The crescent leads straight down to the sea front, which you can even see from the lounge bay window! The kids had a great time playing on the sandy beach and searching rock pools for sea life. We wish we had booked to stay longer.

"Lovely apartment in a great location!"
I spent 4 nights here with my mother and my 2 year old daughter. The apartment was lovely, clean and modern and close to the front so you could see the sea from the lounge window! It had a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a spacious lounge, and 2 bedrooms- one just a single room, the other a big double room. The apartment was in a nice area, just a few minutes walk from Happy Mount Park which my 2 year old loved! Also within walking distance was a little shop and a couple of pubs which served food. The town centre is just a few minutes drive! The owners were very friendly and helpful, we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to stay at the Princes again!
