About the home
Ideally situated just 5minutes walk down to the gorgeous sandy Blue Flag beaches. You will find this upmarket property is extremely spacious and comfortable .Our aim is to provide a home from home with all the facilities you require to have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. So we have been delighted with the vast number of excellent reviews we have received from previous guests, some of which are displayed further down on this site.
You will certainly enjoy our two huge terraces with stunning seaviews and mountain views, ideal for breakfasting, long lazy luches, sunbathing or dining at night whilst watching the twinkling lights turn the playa below into fairyland.
You will find the property is exceptionally well presented and equipped SKY TV,BBC etc. DVD, Dishwasher etc.
We have tried to ensure you will have everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. due to the Airlines strict luggage weight restrictions we now supply ALL towels including Beach Towels plus Hairdrier, Books, DVDs ,etc. There is also a selection of Beach toys etc.
We are only 400 metres from the paseo and main selection of restaurants, French, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Argentinian etc. friendly beach bars and miles of Blue Flag beaches. The apartment Comprises: a large livingrom /diningroom which elegantly furnished and has sliding glass doors leading to the large main terrace, complete with retractable side and roof awnings for your comfort and privacy .
Fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher Microwave, all utensils etc
.Airconditioned bedrooms, the Master bedroom has a SuperKingsize extra long bed and doors to the terrace while the other large bedroom has a Double bed and sturdy pine bunkbeds and has its own private terrace with seaviews .
As we use the apartment ourselves as our holiday home we have equipped it to a high standard but if you have any special requests please do let us know we will do our best to facilitate you .
During your stay our english speaking agent will be on hand to assist you if required and will provide a Welcome Pack for your arrival .
With miles of wide clean sandy beaches Mojacar has become a cosmopolitan resort whilst retaining its unique charm. This romantic coast is mostly unspolit Mojacar Pueblo (village) 3 kms above the Playa has spectacular views, narrow winding streets with whitewashed houses, romantic flower bedecked courtyards, and the promise of a surprise around every turn.
On the Playa you can partake in a wide range of watersports, or just laze on on a Blue Flag beach and have lunch at one of the chirinquitas (Beachbars),
Mojacar enjoys the best climate in Spain warmer, drier and with more sunshine. Everyone comments on the relaxed pace of life. This is one of the best new holiday destinations for all whether for a relaxing break or you can go Para gliding, rollerblading, horse riding, scuba divi ng,bowling, bird watching, quad biking or play GOLF at Europes only Desert Course or at one of the other nearby courses. The Mojacar / Mojacar Playa area
The dramatic Moorish Pueblo n the foothills of the mountains is a sugar cube "white village" with tiny narrow streets , dramatic views and a surprise around every corner is well worth a visit. On the Playa you will find the most charming beachbars and friendly restaurants all reasonably priced and offering a wonderful selection of cuisines. Stroll along the pretty promenade that runs for miles.
At night you can dine watching the sunset over the sea and then visit a spectacular nightclub or disco. There are new shopping centres and many activities are easily accessible i.e.Quadbiking, Scubadiving, tennis, horseriding, Golf ( many excellent courses within one hour drive including "Desert Springs" the only European desert course.) Paragliding, Waterparks, Mini Hollywood. Hill walking, Bowls, mini golf, Microlite flights, etc.etc.
We are delighted that everyone who has stayed has loved it as much as we do. We really do want our guests to enjoy their holiday and are pleased to read so many excellent reviews left in our Guest Book . A sample are on this site but space restrictions mean very few.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return again. The views from the balcony are amazing and the pool very quiet and relaxing. The apartment was very well equipped and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.The beach is just at the bottom of the hill along with a good selection of quality bars and restaurants. Me and my husband were absolutely delighted with the apartment and our holiday in Almeria. This was a surprise a 50th birthday so I wanted it to be special. We arrived on the 27th December and left on 3rd January. We could see the new year fireworks along the front from our apartment the view was fantastic, we were not disappointed with anything. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The weather varied between 7-13 degrees during the day which was great for us as we are not so keen on it being too hot and planned on sight seeing (The Good The Bad and the ugly locations)!. Occaisionally the sun burst through and was wonderful just chilling outside the cafes and drinking a coffee with the locals.The nights where cooler to 5 -7 degrees but comfortable enough to walk along the front to the cafes and bars. Just a very short distance Mojacar is wonderful with small cafes and great views , it is well worth a visit. The beaches around the area were quiet (we preferred this) due to the winter season and everywhere was noticably clean. Great for small or big kids frisby throwing and playing ball etc. We flew into Alicante airport from Manchester but a quick and easy 2 hours drive to the apartment.Mini Hollywood and Tabernas was everything we expected and made our holiday .We have come away with fantastic memories. We would highly recommend this apartment and thank you again Iverna and Martha.

This was our first time renting a holiday place in Spain, and our experience really couldn't have been better. The owner went out of her way to provide every possible bit of information which made it easy to arrive, fun to be there, and hard to leave! The location is stunning, and falling asleep to the sound of the sea is just the best. The place was exactly as advertised, spacious, comfortable, clean, well appointed, and the terrace became our second home. I will definitely go back.

My wife, two boys (15 & 12) and I have had the most wonderful holiday in Mojacar. Apart from the amazing location, the apartment we rented was just perfect. The location is literally minutes walk from the beach and shops, restaurants and bars but far enough away not to be discturbed by any noise at all at night. In fact the only road noise we did hear from time to time was the ancient fresh bread van at about 11.30am each morning! . The facilties and layout of the apartment were great with two spacious air conditioned bedrooms which both have doors onto the balcony . There is a 6 place table and quality sun beds there, but even at that there is plenty of space. The views to the left are of the mountains and to the right and in front is the vibrant blue sea. To go to sleep at night to the sounds of the waves lapping the shore is very relaxing. The lads loved the very private pool and even though it is shared, most days they had it to themselves. The provision of parasols and beach 'toys' was an added bonus and my wife regularly took to the beach to pass a few hours reading and taking the sea air.
In 20 holidays in 20 years, we have never come across a more restful, private, well equipped, maintained and clean property. All in all, this apartment deserves the title 'spectacular' and we'll certainly be back soon. We will be recommending the place to all our friend too !!!

I've just returned from six glorious weeks at this amazing apartment. Clean and with all the comforts of home, this apartment far exceeded my expectations. If you choose to actually leave the apartment (not necessary as the view of the Mediterranean from the terrace is spectacular and you have a pool at your fingertips), the beach and many fantastic bars and restaurants are just steps away. I enjoyed every minute of my stay here and will be back next year!
My husband and I stayed at this apartment together with my then 3yr old son. Had a fantastic time. The apartment was well equipped and offered a very comfortable base. The view from the terrace was exceptional and the apartment itself a very short distance from the main stretch. We hired a car as we enjoy to expore and found some wonderful and welcoming restaurants a little further down the road (although there is plenty of choice close by too). The apartment was immaculate and the customer service prior to departure was excellent - lots of good advise about where to go and what to do. We have visted the area twice before and have always found the locals friendly and welcoming, the weather too has always been great. We will certainly be staying here again as so convenient. Thanks again for letting us use your lovely apartment in Mojacar, we all had a great time. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained and had everything that we needed, very efficient air conditioning, swimming pools and just a short walk to the quiet sandy beach. The apartment is in the best part of Mojacar's playa.Our sixteen year old girls spent a lot of their time near El Cruce in the big newish restaurant / club on the beach, I forget what it's called. We were quite content chilling out after midnight in the local upmarket openair beachside bars and clubs; Tito's, Lua and the club in between! (we really liked Lua). The recent development is very sympathetic to the area. We liked the Paseo which was well lit all night and felt happy that the girls could walk back safely in the early hours. We all thought that your apartment and its location were excellent. So much so that even though we had intended to eat out most evenings we actually did the opposite taking in the fantastic coastal views whilst eating on the terrace and occasionally watching the sunrise too. It was also good to be in a real Spanish holiday resort.
We also spent a few evenings at Mojacar Pueblo (the village up on the hill) and watched a number of Flamenco events in the square whilst taking in the views across plains, we were also there for the start of the fiesta on the day before we left. We had great meals (Sea Bass, highly recomended) at the tiny Rincon de Embrujo restaurant / cafe on the plaza infront of the church.
'd highly recommend the apartment for a relaxing beach holiday. Probably best to have a hire car to explore the area but the public transport is very efficient with buses running every half hour or so up to the village (Pueblo)and along the paseo until the early hours. We stayed in the apartment in the first week of October 2009. It's a really nice, spacious and well equipped place. I would especially recommend it for families with young children as it really has all the home comforts for both looking after the kids and for parents staying in at night. The hill up to the apartment is fairly steep for a pram so we drove most of the time. The terrace is very large and (in October anyway) gets the sun in the morning and evening. The information provided was 100% accurate and on getting to the apartment we opened the doors to a wonderful sea view. The property was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The weather was an added plus, about 25 degrees every day. Despite being the end of the season there was a good variety of bars and restaurants within walking distance. No matter where we went we were made to feel very welcome. Iverna supplied accurate directions and was always on hand, via e-mail, to answer any questions with a very speedy response. I would definatly recommend this property to my friends but not at the time I wanted to use it. We had such a relaxing time that I felt well refreshed and ready for the manics of Christmas. We stayed at this apartment for a week in early Summer 2009.
We didnt know what to expect as we had never stayed in Mojacar before.
We needn't have worried as both the apartment and the resort were excellent. Each night we found different restaurants and bars and enjoyed each one.
The morning walk to the local supermarket to get fresh bread along the promonade was a joy each day.
The apartment was conveniently located, very close to the beach and ample shops and restaurants .
The apartment had all the facilities required for an enjoyable holiday. The views from the balcony need a special mention as especially in the evening the views were simply stunning.
A visit to the inland Majcar village is a must especially on market day. During the week we travelled with the car up and down the coast from the resort. Each place we visited had something to offer.

We booked this lovely apartment for 7 days in mid June 2009 and we had a fantastic holiday. If you love a terrace with genuine, fantastic sea views like we do then you will not be disappointed.
Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is to hand and a small welcome pack was in the apartment for our arrival which was appreciated after an early morning start !
The retractable awnings on the balcony came in handy at all times of the day, either to shield from the 30 degree sunshine or at night for a bit of privacy. The aircon was also great at nighttime.
In a great location very close to bars and restaurants, we were spoilt for choice but a couple of our favourites nearby were Playa Blanca & bar Lua. The fresh fish and meat cooked on a wooden fire is not to be missed then on for a drink in the very cool Bar Lua.
Our enquiries were always dealt with very politely and efficiently and overall my wife and I were very happy and would have no problem recommending this apartment to anyone who was interested.

A LITTLE BIT OF PARADISE.....This super apartment was exactly as the friendly owner had described and the lovely photos suggest. We were given very helpful information and with lots of useful and thoughtful tips about Mojacar and the surrounding area. The view from the terrace is really delightful and its the perfect place to sit,drink relax sunbathing etc.
We spent our days either relaxing on the terrace, swimming in the shared pool or playing games with our 11 and 8 year old sons on the beautiful beach and jumping through the waves- the sea was quite rough at times despite absolutely perfect weather but we all loved it!!!
We did eat out in sometimes but rather liked having our meals sitting out on the large terrace where the views looks so pretty,especially at night and we could then read,chat or play cards. The apartment has all you need to enjoy your stay thouraghly comfortable so cooking etc. is easy. A car is definetly a good idea especially if you want to go sightseeing and the road up to the apartment is quite steep! However the climb is worth it, as the splendid panoramic views are truly memorable once you reach the apartment.
I would recommend this as an ideal place to stay if you want to get away from it all and enjoy simple pleasures. we were sad to leave but felt really refereshed and energized by a most enjoyable holiday. VT

We stayed for a week in October looking to use the accomodation as a base to explore the area and to tie up some loose ends on a property purchase. The standard of accomodation is first class with quality fixtures and fittings and the views from the balconies are amazing. If you are an early riser you can sit and watch the local fishing fleet going out to sea whilst the sun rises over the horizon. In the main bedroom the double was huge, and in the second bedroom there is a double and bunk beds. We did not need to use the aircon in the bedrooms but they are a high spec with remote control so your life really is made easy. We never used the two available swimming pools but did check them out just in case and I have to say you are spoilt for choice, even in late October you could happily spend all day sun bathing by either of the pools. The main balcony has a side and roof awning that is vital as the breeze off the mountains can be brisk at times, but with this down the balcony was like a second living room and was ideal for al fresco dining. Normally when we holiday we tend to eat out a lot, but the facilities were so good that we didn,t need to, it really was for us a home from home. There is loads to do in the local area and a visit to Mojacar Pueblo is a must, and if you pick one town to visit the local market then go to Cuevas De Almanzora on market day to see real Spain. For fish lovers Garrucha just along the coast is the main fishing port in the area with traditional Spanish bars serving fresh fish and tapas. The cheapest flights from the UK by a mile are from Stansted to Alicante on Ryan Air, and the money you save will almost pay for car hire for a week, so it is well worth doing as you will need a car if you are looking to see more than just Mojacar Playa. If you are really adventurous then take a trip into the Almanzora Valley where you can sample rustic Spain amongst the Orange and Lemon groves and stop off at any local bar for the regional tapas of garlic snails.
We were so pleased with everything the apartment offered that we have booked a week at the end of January 2011. That really says it all.
