For those with young children you can take comfort from being able to keep your eye on them from the sun terrace whilst they play at the pool. Private, secure underground car parking. Apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and can be accessed via stairs and elevator. Complex has beautiful landscaped gardens, full of exotic and fragrant plants. The community benefits from secure gated access with video phone entrance for added security.
Both the apartment and complex is wheelchair friendly. The apartment can be reached from the underground parking via the elevator, the apartment door has flush thresholds. The complex benefits from permanent ramped access into the apartment block and right down to the poolside. The beach at La Cala de Mijas has full wheelchair facilities including extensive beachside disabled parking, disabled showers & toilets plus decked wheelchair access right to the water's edge.

Bed linen, tea towels and towels are provided. Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Please bring your own towels for use by the poolside. English-speaking representative on hand to help. Welcome pack can be provided on request.
Conditions
Smoking is permitted only on the sun terrace. Apartment available for both holiday and long-term lets. For long-term prices please contact owners.
Bookings dates will be held for 72 hours to enable flights and car hire to be booked. Deposit 25% of total balance. Remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal account. £200 refundable security deposit to be held until safe return of apartment.

Mijas Pueblo
Is a beautiful village where you can hail a donkey taxi! If that form of transport isn't for you, then why not take a horse and carriage around the village? This is a real gem of a place with lots of shops & restaurants. The botanical gardens are spectacular and so are the views of the coast!
Telecabina
The cable cars near Benalmadena take you on an amazing 15 minute journey to the highest point on the coast - 800m above sea level. If you are a keen cyclist you can get a one way ticket and experience the thrill of riding back down! For those of you with children there are Birds of Prey and Horse Dressage exhibitions at the top.
The Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area
La Cala de Mijas
This once, small, fishing village has developed into a hive of tourism in recent years, but it has still managed to retain something of its Andalucian village-by-the-sea atmosphere. The long beaches are well cared for and clean, with soft golden sand and breath-taking views. Some wonderful restaurants and fine dining can be found around town or overlooking the sea.Saturday nights in the hot summer months of July and August are magical in La Cala. The promenade becomes a festival of classical music and Flamenco dancing. With the outline of the old 16th Century watchtower of Torre Vieja as a backdrop and moon reflecting down on the expanse of sea, the village celebrates a season of Noches de Luna y Playa (Nights of Moon and Beach).Various outdoor activities are within a short drive of La Cala. There are several locations in the La Cala hills to enjoy pony-trekking, with professional guides offering riding lessons for the less experienced rider. Or maybe you would prefer to watch the horse races at the fantastic Hipodromo del Sol, located in the hills above La Cala, offering night-time racing during the summer.

Many thanks for letting us stay in your fabulous apartment. The weather was beautiful (hot & sunny in March!) and we really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace listening to nothing but the sound of birds tweeting. The apartment had all the comforts of home and we felt truly spoilt. It was wonderful to have a proper piping hot shower, rather than some of the cold ‘dribbles’ you usually get in holiday accommodation. The location was ideal, relaxing and peaceful yet only a few minutes drive into the resort of La Cala. La Cala is lovely and we enjoyed taking coffee at the Watchtower square by the beach. We have fond memories of a holiday that went far too quickly, but we hope to make up for it by returning to Calanova very soon.Thanks again.

We would like to thank you both for the opportunity of spending a week’s holiday in your stunning apartment. We couldn't fault anything, from landing at the airport, the meet and greet with your key holder, to collecting our hire car and your easy instructions to find the apartment - the whole process went so smoothly. The apartment was home-from-home and we couldn’t want for anything more, other than our own butler! It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more and the washing machine was an added luxury.The pictures on your web site don’t do the apartment justice. The views are just wonderful and there was nothing better that opening a bottle of wine in the evening, sitting on the balcony and taking in the stunning scenery, peace and tranquillity. Laura used the swimming pool every day, which was very clean and safe and she made quite a few friends during our stay - it was hard for her when we left, she had such a good time. She was also very pleased to have UK Sky TV, as she was into the Olympics and could keep up with all the daily events.The apartment is in a great location for visiting the Costa del Sol. You can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the mountains, or within a 5 minute drive enjoy the restaurants, beach and night-life of La Cala and surrounding areas. One evening we went to a beautiful restaurant, ‘Mijas Playa’ in La Cala. Even though it was more expensive than your average restaurant, you paid for great quality of food and surroundings.We visited many places during our stay, including the beautiful village of Mijas, where we took a pony and trap ride around the town and enjoyed the many quaint shops off the main street. With a great choice of bars and restaurants as well, this village is certainly worth a visit. We also visited the rock of Gibraltar, where we enjoyed the breath taking views on our trip to the top...and the monkeys were an interesting experience! Thank you again for your guidance on where to park and what to visit, it certainly helped to maximise our day out. We also visited Marbella and took a street train ride, which gave us a highlight tour of the town, including the promenade. Puerto Bonus was so nice, with its lovely marina and stunning boats, which has emphasised the fact that we need to continue with the weekly lottery to realise a dream! We also went to the Wednesday market, which had a great choice of goods. We also had the added bonus of a visiting circus in La Cala, which we enjoyed one evening.
All that remains to be said is thank you both and we look forward to booking your apartment again.
