Villa Bougainvilea is a Cibeles luxury furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with its own huge swimming pool, set in secluded gardens, on the popular urbanization of Camposol, in Murcia, Spain. It benefits from the lovely, 10m x 5m kidney-shaped private pool with a shallow end for the children. The property is air-conditioned in both living and bedroom areas, and is on one level throughout and comprises large lounge, separate dining room, and fully fitted kitchen. We also have UK satellite Television service, with full WiFi internet access.
There is a fully enclosed and covered terrace at the front of the property, providing a shaded area to relax/dine outside, together with a spacious rooftop solarium which has uninterrupted mountain views, and other sunny patio areas with sun loungers. There is also secure, off-street parking. The gardens are mature, with lovely Bouganvillas, Palm trees, cactus and other tropical plants in abundance.
The Villa is set a few minutes walk from the luxurious Spa Hotel Sensol , and Camposol Golf Club and Course and a few minutes by car from the nearest supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, (most offering a take out service) and commercial facilities.
Easy access roads to the beaches in Mazarron and to the cosmopolitan Marina, and also to the fabulous Sierra Espuna National Park, with breath taking views, wildlife and walks.

This superb and very spacious villa has been furnished to a high standard, as you might expect with a home that is used by ourselves for many months a year. In the main sitting area, in addition to comfortable sofas there is a comfortable and quiet reading area with lovely casual furniture.
The lounge and main bedroom benefit from hot and cold air conditioning units which, together with the log burner in the lounge, make this an ideal "all year round" holiday home. There are 2 and 3-seater sofas and casual seating furniture in the lounge. The lounge is also equipped with a large TV complete with English Satellite system for most Free view and Sky channels , and DVD / CD player. Full WiFi internet access is scheduled for 2010. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and ample drawer space.
The dining room currently has seating for 4, however there are plenty of chairs throughout for your use.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every convenience including washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster etc, together with hob & electric oven.
There is plenty of hot water serviced by electricity, ensuring your shower won't run cold!!
All bed linen and towels are provided during your stay for internal use only. Please bring your own pool/beach towels.
Pets are welcomed, but please - no smoking internally.

The entrance to the villa is via a quiet side road, with tiled pathway to the front terrace
The villa benefits from being situated in an semi-elevated position with mature gardens, which are laid with shingle, patio and and garden areas. The lovely large and private 10m x 5m swimming pool will be a delight for all. Sunbeds are provided and there are tiled patio areas complete with furniture in addition to the terrace furnishings at the rear of the property, which enjoys the sun in the morning, but is beautifully shaded from the Spanish sun in the afternoon ! There is also a circular, "sun-pit", for those dedicated sun-worshippers, with optional table and (6) chairs
The gardens are mainly planted with tropical plants, An Orange tree (please feel free to pick these when in season), and 2 large raised planting areas well stocked with a wide range of exotic plants
There is concealed garden lighting at the rear which makes this an ideal setting for those evening drinks.
The ground floor terrace is furnished with glass-topped table and chairs providing an excellent place for al fresco dining and a quiet place to read out of the sun.
The first floor sun terrace is also equipped with a table and chairs and provides uninterrupted mountain views.

The Costa Calida region
The Costa Calida, known as the Warm Coast, is situated in the south east corner of the Iberian Peninsula. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south is Almeria. There are some 250km of coastline and it benefits from around 320 days of sunshine per year with temperatures ranging from 18C to 38C in the summer season and around 12C to 22C during the winter season.
The many sandy beaches make the Costa Calida a very popular holiday destination with both the English and the Spanish.
Camposol, which translates as 'Countryside in the Sun' is situated 12kms from the lovely beaches of Mazarron. A superb inland village has been created with supermarkets, several restaurants, bars, including sports bar with Sky Sports, racing etc, shops, banks, and hairdressers - all within a short drive of Villa Drennan, without even having to leave Camposol itself. Restaurant choices include Chinese, Indian, Italian, Spanish and English. There is also a petrol station on site.
There is the fabulous Sensol Spa Hotel on-site, with many facilities for visitors, and its associated 18 hole golf course, within a walking distance, where as long as you have your handicap card, you can play. At the golf course you will also find a luxury clubhouse which serves food and drinks and has weekend entertainment, together with the driving range where a bucket of balls costs a modest fee.
The spa hotel opened fully in only 2008.
Mazarron - Where the mountains meet the sea...
Mazarron is a typical small Spanish town and is situated 25 miles from Murcia. The main town has banks, indoor produce market, medical facilities, shops and restaurants, while 5 minutes drive away is Puerto de Mazarron.
Puerto de Mazarron : -
Puerto de Mazarron has superb sandy beaches and secluded coves, a harbour and a marina. There are many excellent bars and restaurants to choose from where you can delight in local dishes and practice your Spanish at the same time!
The paseo has been extended virtually the whole of the Bay ofMazarron, and now reaches down to El Alamillo and a walk along here is a lovely way to pass the warm evenings. Apart from tourism, the region is famous for farming and agriculture. Most of the tomatoes in British supermarkets come from this area.
Mazarron is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. Furthermore, the clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the diving enthusiast some highly interesting underwater depths.
But Mazarron is not only sea, but land & air too, from hang-gliding to rock climing thre is much to see and do in this unspoilt corner of Spain. Walking, Cycling and Horseriding are just some of the activities available in the local area. If you like adventure sports and being close to nature, you are in the right place.
To the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama, you will find the beautiful national park, Sierra Espuna. The views are spectacular and along the journey you will find a few small bars and restaurants serving good quality and reasonably priced food. There are a number of walks signposted and if you are lucky, you will see some wild boar and red squirrels. See a different side of Spain as here there is not a beach or swimming pool in sight.

"A fabulous week of relaxation in a lovely villa with pool"
We have recently returned and it was perfect for our requirements. We travelled with a 7 and 2 year old. A very spacious villa, with beautiful gardens and fabulous pool for both kids and adults! We flew into San Javier airport and hired a vehicle from Centauro with no problems and staff very helpful/friendly.
The villa was clean and properly equipped with all you need. Very comfortable and homely. Our children stayed in the 3rd bedroom which doesn't have air con, however Gail & David are considering installing it. The other 2 bedrooms have air con.
Access to the pool area at the rear of the villa, is via the kitchen side door. We found this excellent with our 2 year old, as he wasn't able to 'wander' near pool without us knowing. We were either up at the pool with him, or in the villa.
We didn't eat out much, however Gail did provide information regarding local restaurants if you wanted to venture out. We visited Puerto de Mazarron one evening and didn't find restaurants on the beach that appealing, so came back to the restaurants on Camposol. We ate at Steak Out, which was basic pub food, steak not good and mum in laws prawns not cooked, so not very successful! If/when we return, we would like to try the spanish restaurants recommended by Gail.
The supermarket on Camposol is excellent, everything you need. Beware it isn't open on Sundays!
All in all, a lovely villa on a quiet estate, perfect for a relaxing holiday spent by the pool.

We have just got back from a fantastic holiday as a family with a 7 month old 5 year old and 10 year old. We loved the Villa as it provided us with a perfect base for a family holiday. The villa has a homely and loved feeling to it. Pool was perfect for all of us as generous in size compared to other villas we have stayed at. A car is essential to get exploring. We did pop up to Benidorm to Aqulandia and can highly recommend this to families but make sure you either purchase tickets before or print off vouchers otherwise be extremely expensive. We made a visit to Murcia and having visited many European cities this was one of the best very clean many shops and lots of lovely squares and cathedrals. We were lucky enought to stumble across a gorgeous tapas restaurant in plaza santa catalina, el secreto.
